The room was nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant and got us checked in quickly. On the second night till the end of our trip we had EXTREMELY loud neighbors w/children and so it was a little difficult to get sleep. Overall I would stay here again.

I had a really positive experience at Lux Hotel and Spa. After everything I went through while in Texas, I truly appreciated their kindness and understanding. They went above and beyond by allowing me to check in early as a courtesy, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The rooms were alright, but sort of antiquated. The carpet felt a little gross. The air conditioning unit was an old wall unit that worked well while we were there, but it was a bit loud. The noise didnt bother us, but was noticeable. The bathroom fan did not work and neither did the hair dryer. When we passed through the first floor to get to our car, there were several rooms with notifications that the room was closed by the health department.

Rooms can be more dusty cleaned and my problem was that in the morning I forgot a cockroach sitting under my floor mat shower 😞. A big hole in the wall where the toilet water connects and the toilet paper support came off on my first touch.

We had booked the room with the “jacuzzi” tub. It never worked while we were there and there was “nothing they could do about it”. The room smelled like mold and mildew, lights didn’t work, the sheets smelled bad… etc. won’t be booking here again.
