Magical Lake house, feel like being in the cabin in the heart of Minneapolis.

"Place was ok. Entrance to the back door is very unsafe. The steps you climb have no hand rails and when you got to the top there is almost a 3 foot drop off the slab to get into the house with no railings to prevent you from falling.The light switches through out the house are very awkward, being located behind doors, second bedroom didn’t have any light switch had to use lights on the table, master bedroom light switch was located outside the bedroom.TV had a big crack in the screen which we were told about after we checked in so we only had a half of screen. Yes there were other TV’s in the house but my husband walks with a cane not comfortable going up and down the steps. We asked about moving the downstairs TV upstairs but didn’t feel comfortable taking it up the steps.Sign told us to remove our shoes but was not comfortable walking on the carpet had a lot of spots on it. They left shoes I’m assuming were for us to use but I don’t care to wear other people’s shoes it’s summer time I had no socks on.My daughter slept downstairs she said it was a little damp smelling. She said you were either cold or warm down there.Upstairs’ bathroom had men’s shower gel but nothing for women. The shampoo and conditioner were nice.These might seem like little picky stuff but when you spend that amount of money it’s nice not to have to worry about the little things."

"Overall, not a bad experience, but the house looked a bit rougher than the pictures led to believe. The grass wasn't cut when we arrived, but the host reached out same day as check in an cut it the next morning. The stairs are very steep getting to the upstairs room and temperature difference between the two levels was very different. The fridge was a little banged up- had to lift the door to close it properly. Most of the decor and furniture felt dated, but was nice enough. Also makes sense since dogs are allowed at the property. The location within town is nice and the neighborhood itself was nice, but the house felt like staying at Grandma's house or something. I know it was summer time and bugs are somewhat to be expected, but we found at least 6 or 7 throughout out in stay in multiple rooms and across both floors. It also looked like a bee's nest may have been in the window, so that didn't help the overall vibe of the stay. The hosts were very polite and kind all of this being said. In general, it wasn't a bad stay, but could have been better. Would I stay at this location again- no. Check in was really easy and smooth, but there were no check out instructions, so we tried to do the normal: take out trash, clean all dishes, put everything how we found it, turn the thermostat up, lock doors, return keys, etc..."

"Had a late check-in at 11pm. The front desk lady was very friendly and quick to get us to our room. Once there, it was moderately clean. Could have been better but should have been much worse. We were just there for a night's rest before continuing our drive. The main downfall is the 4 trains that went past the hotel in 2 hour increments blowing their horn from midnight on. Woke up our whole group. Breakfast in the morning was nice but again could have been better or could have been worse. I did enjoy the the fresh coffee machines."

"Location, front desk help, bed/bedroom, breakfast was fine. Our hair dryer and the little coffeepot in the room did not work and when I told the housekeeping girl that hair dryer didn't work she said "Yes, it does." It didnt, and I tried several times during our five day stay. My husband and I enjoyed the breakfast, but the eggs were never very warm at all. The other parts of the breakfast was fine, but I wished it went until 10 am instead of ust 9 am. The computer in lobby was not working on the day I had to use it to print out something, so that was not helpful. Again, the front desk staff was available and very nice. Lobby and eating area comfortable."
