"We had an amazing time everything from the transfers to and from the airport to the hotel, to the hotel itself just couldn’t fault anything. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and they were so friendly. This was the first time going all inclusive we couldn’t have chosen a better place the food was so nice and so much choice. The hotel was very clean and tidy the grounds were well maintained. We will be staying here again in the future."

"Very good and family friendly experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall an excellent stay. The only complaint would be that dinner at 2 of the 4 restaurants felt a little like a conveyor belt where the priority seemed to be getting us fed and out as quickly as possible rather than having us enjoy the dining experience. With that said the experience at the other 2 restaurants was excellent."

"The property was very clean and well maintained. All of the staff were extremely friendly. Overall the food was very good. Not at all the properties fault but it rained 2 of the 4 days we stayed at this resort. A lot of this resorts amenities (ping pong, full size chess) and even some of the a la carte restaurants do not operate when it's raining. And with everyone needing to be inside, the common area's felt a bit cramped."

"We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Dafni?

The best area to stay in Dafni is generally around the main village centre and its immediate surroundings, particularly for those seeking convenience and a local experience. This area is the heart of Dafni, a traditional Cretan village. You'll find a few local tavernas serving authentic cuisine, a minimarket for essentials, and the village's main square, which often serves as a meeting point for locals. The roads here are narrow and winding, typical of a Greek village. For couples looking for a relaxed and authentic Greek holiday, staying within or very close to the village centre is ideal. You'll be able to stroll to a taverna for dinner, enjoy the slow pace of village life, and easily access the local bus service if you wish to explore further afield without a car.Travellers who appreciate a bit more seclusion while still being close to amenities might consider accommodations just outside the village centre, often offering villas or guesthouses with views of the surrounding olive groves and hills.
