"Getting to Anacapri was challenging, but once we made it, we could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. The room was not fancy, but comfortable and clean and air conditioned. Location is an easy 20 minute walk down a nice quiet road to the main town and shopping. Breakfast was included, and was lovely. We elected to have dinner here on both nights as you will not find a better sunset view. The food was delicious and Luigi, the host, was attentive and very kind. Would recommend."

"We are so happy to have selected Hotel Regina Cristina for our 3 night stay. Everyone was especially kind, respectful and helpful. The hotel areas were clean and well organized. Our room was ample with a large balcony overlooking the town that we enjoyed on a daily baisis. The daily breakfast was plentiful, with excellent coffee and many options available. The breakfast area is bright and sunny, whether indoors or out. It was a pleasure meeting here every morning. We ate twice at Terrazza Venere, the hotel's restaurant and the food was quite delicious, in addition to great service. In the evening, we would return to the hotel, have a drink and reminisce about our day. The bartenders were attentive and personable. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the center of Capri town, close to the piazzetta and in the midst of all the high end boutiques. We will miss Capri and dream about it's beauty and charm throughout the long winter awaiting us back home."

"Perfect location for Capri… steps away from one of the best beaches. Views to die for. Free shuttle service into Capri town (never really had to wait for a shuttle, always there). We got very lucky with the room as it was more off to the side and wasn’t noisy at all. Other people we were travelling with had a room in the middle and they said walls were thin and could hear a lot. But… the views and common spaces were just exceptional. Very reasonably priced food at the hotel with many delicious options (way better than if you were to walk to any of the restaurants near beach). Hotel staff were for the most part kind… although I could tell some were tired and a bit “over it” as it was end of season and the hotel closed in a week. Overall I would definitely stay again considering the price for Capri and it’s location with shuttle service."

"Our room on the top floor was large with a huge sea-facing terrace. Buffet breakfast was included, and it was wonderful! The location is perfect, no super long downhill paths like many of the hotels on Capri--but it is a bit of a walk from the Funicolare. The hotel offers luggage service from the ferry (and in reverse when leaving), and although it seemed expensive at first, it is so worth the €22 per bag, especially on the way up."

"Truly one of the nicest hotels and locations I have ever been to. We had a premium ocean view room at the end of the property with two balconies overlooking the Falagina rocks, the town and Marina Picolo. Everyone on site was friendly, helpful and so pleasant. Everyone we met lives in Capri and so they know all the best places to go to for anything. The hotel pool bar was a fun evening stopover. For arrival, the hotel offered several ways to get from Naples airport to the hotel. The private car to the ferry and then pick up in Capri was the best. The breakfast was truly one of the most amazing spreads in Europe and was held in the Michelin dining room overlooking the island. We will be back"

"I have seen reviews from others complaining about how difficult it is to get to this hotel, and I honestly don't know what they are talking about. First off, you are on the Island of Capri. Everything is vertical there. If you are worried about going uphill you probably shouldn't be there to begin with. Second, the route that the hotel gave us to arrive there was as easy and simple as going for a quiet Sunday stroll. You take the large easy path to arrive at La Palette Ristorante (which I also highly recommend!!) and then take the little back path to the hotel. There was nothing challenging or difficult about it. Yes - there are some stairs on that back path and it is uphill/downhill, but again you are in Capri! What were you expecting?! I'm 52 years old and not super fit, but I had zero problems finding the place or getting to it. It was truly a nothing burger. As for the hotel, it was absolutely fantastic and deserving of all the stars! The suite was beautiful. The personal hot tubs outstanding. The view was breathtaking. The staff were incredibly courteous, helpful and engaging, especially Gabriele and Giuseppe (and their was another guy in the bar/restaurant but I never got his name). I literally have nothing negative to say about the place. The pool was beautiful, too, although it was raining while I was there and didn't have a chance to use it. I would HIGHLY recommend the place to anyone who wants to feel like a superstar while on the Island."
