But I had a steak for dinner and I could not eat it because i kept on chewing and the meat would not seperate very tough.
Send the whole steak back but they did ot give me a discount or some other meal. I only had a salad and dessert"

Also, I have to say that the restaurant in the property is THE BEST OF THE BEST. The staff and the food were simply AMAZING. Five Stars to all of them."

"This is a beautiful castle and we’d stay again in a heartbeat but only out of season. The heat was stifling and it was almost impossible to sleep at night with small windows, many of which did not have mosquito nets and only fans to recirculate hot air - I have never come back from a two week holiday as tired - some form of air conditioning is a must here. The previous reviews said as long as windows/shutters were kept closed the rooms would stay cool. We were hyper vigilant about this but the second floor bedrooms (of which there are 5) were bordering on impossible to sleep in. The housekeeper who lives on site was lovely and very discreet and extremely efficient. Some of the castle - such as the kitchen - could do with updating and a few extra very small touches such as a proper ironing board and enough pegs to be able to hang out a full load of washing. Also a few extra sun beds around the pool would have been good. Out of mid summer I would say this is a truly amazing place to stay, in mid summer heat however it is just too hot."
