Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"We had a wonderful stay in August 2014. The rental is very homey and cozy, but with plenty of room inside and fantastic grounds outside. It has fantastic views of the countryside. It was a good base for exploring Burgundy including the wine route. It is just outside of Autun, which was fascinating and an hour from Beaune, a charming town. Our only regret was we didn't get to use the swimming pool - the weather did not cooperate. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with."

"Venu un week-end pour aller au Pal, nous avons apprécié le cadre du lieu, son calme et l'espace. Les enfants peuvent jouer, courir en toute sécurité. "Nous sommes venus à Saint-Honoré-les-Bains pour fêter les 1 an de notre fils. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. La maison est tout à fait adaptée pour accueillir de grandes familles (nous étions 17, dont deux bébés). "Front desk English skills were a bit limited, but the entire staff was exceptionally friendly, even in the midst of hosting a large Spain cultural event. Rooms in excellent shape. "We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
