Tenderfoot Creek Cabin | 2 Bed, 1 Bath

The Tenderfoot Creek Cabin is nestled in the heart of the Black Hills National Forest minutes from Custer and Hill City. The Tenderfoot Creek Cabin is conveniently located to a variety of restaurants, art galleries, unique shops and museums. The Mickelson Trail a 109 mile long trail that contains more than 100 converted railroad bridges and 4 rock tunnels runs on the edge of the property. Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park are within 20 miles of the cabin. Our guests may also enjoy other activities in the area including fishing, sightseeing, and hunting.
The cozy log cabin has 1 king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom with linens, large closets, dressers, and extra bedding. The living room has a sofa sleeper. The full bath includes a tub/shower combination, towels, shampoo, and bath soap. Our guests can cook meals in the equipped kitchen or enjoy grilling outside. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs and bench seating. The living room has a  electric fireplace, and TV.
Picture yourself sitting on the covered deck looking out at the meadow enjoying your morning coffee or a meal. Tenderfoot Creek runs through the property. The Tenderfoot Creek Cabin also offers WIFI, laundry facilities, new A/C in 2016, and plenty of parking.

Clean, cozy and cute cabin

This cabin was perfect for a quick weekend in the hills with family. Quiet area and close to many attractions. The best pet was the front porch wear we enjoyed morning coffee.

This cabin was perfectly situated between Hill City, Custer, and Keystone. It was clean and comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, and the owners were great to work with. The kids loved the family of deer that visited each day and the expansive yard to play in. It was a fantastic place to stay for our family of five!

The cabin was well maintained. Had pretty much everything you need to cook meals. Great location to visit Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and other fun attractions.

Sweet Cabin!

The cabin was excellent! One of the best maintained rentals we have ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen. Great location. Very quiet and dark at night. We spent most of the day visiting Custer, Rushmore, and all the sights and coming back to the cabin was a lovely retreat. Highly recommend.

Lovely cabin, too close to a busy highway. No real place to gaze at the stars, no fire pit.

Nice cabin, check in was easy. Owner was kind and made check in a breeze. I wish there was a fire pit or patio to sit out under the stars. The only noise was the highway, other wise a quiet grouping of home. The cabin was clean and had everything you would need, but the bathroom sink didn't drain well.

Great Location!

Beautiful, clean, comfy home that came stocked with the essentials you need like trash bags, dish soap, and many other little things that we appreciated. We also loved sitting on the front porch, having a few drinks after a long day of hiking, biking, ATVing, and visiting the historical landmarks. This cabin is secluded, but not too far off the beaten path. You have neighbors, but the front yard faces nothing but nature. Just a quick drive into Hill City for groceries, restaurants and shops. (Note: Must stop by the Alpine Inn for dinner. 9oz fillet minot, baked potato, Texas toast & salad wedge for under $14. )

You simply can’t go wrong here black hills rustic charm cabin filled with everything you could need stocked in the home. The location is just barely off the highway but yet the landscape you feel like your nestled completely secluded. So easy to be in Custer, hill city, mt Rushmore, or the state park within leas than 15 minutes this is the perfect location. We would definitely love to be back at this rental!
