Very clean and had everything we needed. Location was wonderful! Within minutes of everything. Only suggestion I would make... if you do not allow guests to use closet, provide an alternate option for hanging clothes
Loved the cabin! Just the right size. It was very clean and inviting. The wrap-around porch was an added benefit. The location was perfect for us. We brought out our ATV's and could travel to the trails and Custer State Park nearby easily. There was lots of space for our vehicle, trailer and machines. I would definitely book this place again.
The cabin was spotless - except for the kitchen, thus 4 stars.
The furnishings, floors, beds are comfortable, bathrooms, refrigerator spotless!
The wrap around covered porch amazing. The expansive grass is perfection, along with numerous flower beds.
The bad news: Dishes, silverware, glassware, cookware, etc. were dirty -- our simple suggestion, get a dishwasher! For health's sake! Our group even laundered hot pads and kitchen towels. The cabinet under the sink is very dirty - several sink strainers all filthy, dish drainer extremely filthy. We did wash the two plastic sink mats to use.
Custer County is amazing, we saw so many beautiful sites! Great memories!
Great Location, loved the porch for the scenery and the enjoyment of a hot cup of coffee on the brisk mornings Had everything we needed and very comfortable.Though we didn’t see them i believe we woke up a couple mornings to turkeys gobbling. Highly recommend and hope to be back someday.
Beautiful cabin in a great location. Between Hill City and Custer - both great places to explore. Also a number of trails within a quick drive. The cabin is comfortable and homey. Hope this place is available next time we go back to this area.
We enjoyed the cabin very much the front porch was great place where we sat and watched the wildlife run around in the yard. It was located kind a in the middle of all the attractions we wanted to see. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay in the Black Hills. The only thing that didnt make it perfect was some noise from the highway close by but we didnt hear it from inside the cabin. When we come back to this area again, we would definably rent this place again !
My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Granite Springs - the location could not be beat! We were close to all of the attractions, nestled right between Custer and Hill City. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5, big living space and open kitchen to easily fit all of us, and of course the wrap around porch was the main attraction. The massive yard was so nice to have for the kids to play around in after all of our sightseeing. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, and being able to use washer/dryer was a big plus. Can't recommend enough. Thank you!
Granite Springs was the perfect getaway in the Black Hills of South Dakota! It was centrally located to all of the adventures we wanted to take. The property is amazing. The kids had a blast exploring the yard. The house is spacious and clean with plenty of extra pillows and linens for pull-out couches. The property manager was very responsive. We had a small issue with condensation in the bathrooms due to high humidity, but the property manager was on top of it! All of the kitchen essentials were provided to make our stay as close to home as possible. The porch views were so beautiful. This was a fabulous place to call "home" for the week while we hiked and adventured all over this beautiful area. We would absolutely stay again!

Granite Springs is a beautiful and well-appointed cabin located in a spacious and private setting.
Granite Springs is a beautiful and well-appointed cabin located in a spacious and private setting. Centrally located between Custer and Hill City, it was the perfect base for our adventures in the Black Hills. The cabin really felt like home away from home. We especially enjoyed sitting out by the small pond to wind down each evening. We definitely would stay here again for a future Black Hills vacation. We found the property on-line and had our initial questions answered promptly. From there, we received timely reminders and related information making our stay an absolute no-hassle experience.

Stay was fantastic.
Stay was fantastic. Cabin was fantastic my kids loved it. Stayed cool the whole time ever though it was 90 and over in heat range outside. Best vacation ever. Leann and the maintenance man was great. I had a car issue and they did everything they could to help. Very friendly and they checked in with me the next morning to make sure I was up and running again. Answered all my questions before the trip and during. Best service I have ever received.
