"clean and fresh"

"We've been coming here for 5+ years and really enjoy the location and Hampton Inn chain hotels. Our room was clean and we were very comfortable. I was not very impressed with the breakfast staff however; hot water for tea was lukewarm most times. I noticed guests had to ask for items that had run out/were not replenished during breakfast. The person in charge seemed to be overwhelmed. Also, I did notice in the public bathroom, rust spots and what seem to be water damage to wallpaper at some point. Hampton Inn usually has a good reputation in terms of care and standards, so I was surprised to see this at this location. Overall good stay."

"The house was very spacious and in a great location, less than a five-minute drive to Corolla Beach. We spent our 33rd anniversary there, and my wife was especially excited to see the wild horses. Although none came right up to the property, we saw plenty while tailgating on the beach. The host even offered to extend our stay by two complimentary nights. Overall, it was a great stay!"

"The island is beautiful. Ran into a few issues. Booked an oceanview room but got a house view and oceanview to the left. Hot tub on the fritzed. Some amenities not open. Did not havecwater for about 12 hours. But mainly did not have a real oceanview"

"Everything was excellent. Breakfast was good (the muffins were delicious). The room was spacious. The pool area looked very inviting. The swing at the end of the pier was most enjoyable to sit and watch the sun set. This was an exceptional place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Beautiful views!! Beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. We very much enjoyed our time here. Especially on the back deck! We did not use the hot tub or fire pit due to our schedule, but those are definitely things we typically would have enjoyed!"
