"Beautifully decorated, cosy space within a short walk (3 mins) to a beautiful deserted beach. Kind and friendly hosts, who had recommendations for activities, dining options, and transportation. Comfortable bed, great shower, delicious breakfast, strong wifi (even in the hammock on the veranda!). It's about an hour walk to the Ponta de Corumbau, so it's perfect for people who want to be a bit removed from the center of the action (or have a car). Wish I could have stayed longer!"

"This was our third visit here and we have noticed a steep decline in the property since our last visit 4 years ago. The room was very clean and the bathroom was beautiful. The kitchen staff was great. The other staff members were not exactly friendly. The restaurant was not open during the day or at night due to staffing issues. It was very disappointing to us as during our first two stays here we enjoyed spending time at the property having lunch and drinks by the pool. The pool deck was rotting away and there were spots where there were tripping hazards. The gym is tiny which is okay but there were not even any hand weights. The rest of the property is beautiful and the plants and birds add to the magical quietness of this property. I sincerely hope that they are able to work out their staffing issues and update their pool area. This has always been our happy place and I hope that it will continue to be in the future."
