Nice stay

Really decent hotel. Check-in was smooth. Clean room. It was nice to have windows that opened. Able to park right outside the room. Single story so no one stomping above. Seems like they have long term residents living there, but they were at the other end smoking, so it was okay.

Typical older motel. Small room without closet, writing desk, straight chair, or suitcase rack. Older large refrigerator, and overstuffed chair (with small stain). Bed too soft. Excellent staff!

Not a terrible place, but not very good. It was comparatively inexpensive, and for good reason. The good… It was very clean and conveniently located. The WiFi was decent. The check in and out was quick and easy. The not so good… It was loud (road noise and the room heater). It was bright with inadequate curtains. The one mattress was old and rolled you off the edge. I could find only one accessible outlet for the phone charger. The smoke alarm went off, gave a single piercingly loud tone, twice during the night. And they gave us the wrong room (booked a queen got two doubles). All in all, if you need someplace to crash for the one night, at least it’s cheap. But I don't recommend staying here if you’re looking to visit the area for more than a day.

The staff was extremely nice and pleasant, it’s a cheap place to stay if you need just a one night stop. The only things I didn’t really like were the locks seemed really easy to break into; there was only one on the door and they were very loose and if you really tried, you could bust through the locked door. I also found an ant crawling on my bed, there were some spiders on the ceiling in the corner and after a while I detected the faint smell of pee that was a little unpleasant. Other than that, it was ok, I’d recommend it only if you need a quick stop for the night. The best part was the staff; super nice.

The property is located between Frostburg and Cumberland. The owner/operator was friendly though he had some communication barriers and cultural differences. We booked with the understanding that we'd pay upon arrival. The owner charged my card while we were still on the road then called me to demand that I add funds to my card because the second room we booked was not paid yet. I explained we were still on our way and my mother in law would be paying for her own room once we arrived and reminded him that was the understanding as per Expedia. He was ok with it, but it took a few minutes for him to understand. Once we got there checking was smooth and he has no time limit on when you check in which was nice because we arrived extremely late as we were driving. The room we got was TINY. There was a chair that was messily covered with a much too large cover. The carpet in the room was sticky and gross. There was a refrigerator that was much too large for the space and a microwave that was rusted on the inside. There was nowhere to put our luggage or our clothing, no closet or even a place to hang any items. The bathroom had the standard soap, mini shampoo/ body wash and lotion. There was a coffee machine. The towels were clean, but the bedsheets had a stain on them. There is an area in the office that has supplies and microwaveble foods and other necessities. There is a laundry room too. This place is ok if you just need a place to sleep.

Nothing too fancy, but after all, it provided precisely what I wanted at a reasonable price, a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep. Very happy with the value, and will certainly remember it for the next time I'm passing through the Cumberland area.

Don’t stay here!!!

We did not get the room we booked, when we arrived at the property the hotel clerk told us that room was not available!!! We could have stayed up the road at a better place but decided we wanted a kitchenette room instead, all the clerk said was well it has a microwave. We payed almost $100 dollars for a generic room with very uncomfortable beds and the bedding was like sleeping on Velcro!!! We will go with the better hotels up the road next time!!! I feel like we got ripped off!!!

As said you get what you pay for. This was the best deal in the area. I have stayed here a few times and the only real issue is that the carpets let your feet dirty. Been like this for years. The room was dated but clean and the beds ect are always clean. I just know to wear flip flops or any thing on your feet to walk around in. My last stay the bathroom door was coming off the hinge at the top and the commode seat was not tight and the lid was broken at the hinge and kept coming off. I did say this was the best deal anywhere in the area so again good for the money. I will stay here anytime I am in the area!!!! There are lots of other places to stay but double and triple the money if that’s what you want!!

The property is an older facility that is well kept and in a quiet area. The check in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. As for the room, it was very clean and for the two nights I was there, I slept very well. If back in the area for a stay in the future, I would not hesitate to book this location again.
