Holiday Rentals in Culnacnoc

The Lodge, Culnacnoc
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (93)
"This poperty is away from the town center of Portree and isolated, which is a plus and a minus. It is on a small road with a private gate, there is a parking space. The views are great and it is nice to be able to hike down to the coast. The facilities are more than adequate and comfortable. As the property is run by a corporate agent, there is no personal touch or direct communication. Skye is rustic, as is the location of this place. Keep that in mind. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the...

"We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Princes Point Villa! The location is perfect for an Isle of Skye road trip. The scenery is fantastic, with a sweeping view of the sea across a beautiful pasture. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a fabulous farm style kitchen. Tracy was warm and engaging and made us feel very welcome. Overall fantastic experience! Note that we booked through Expedia and some of the details/price were incorrectly listed. Traditional Croft House, modern interior, in stunning landscape, near the coast.
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (194)
"The house was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Plus it was very quiet and peaceful. Our daughter absolutely loved having the room at the top of the stair overlooking the sheep pasture. Got to watch the sheep dogs move the sheep and we got a chance to chat with the shepherd who was very friendly. Our host was wonderful and she always responded very quick to any of our questions. This is an absolute must accommodation if you are visiting the northern end of the Isle of Skye."

Beachcomber Cottage, Waternish
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (53)
"We loved our stay in Beachcomber Cottage. It was an ideal place to end our days and it had the same rural vibe as the rest of the Isle. Perfect for a family of four. It was very clean and well maintained with modern appliances in an otherwise traditional house with lots of history. Be sure to plan your arrival such that you arrive with all the groceries and supplies you will need, as Stein does not have anywhere to buy groceries or other necessities. The house came with plenty of dishes and...

SPACIOUS FAMILY FRIENDLY TRADITIONAL COTTAGE - AMAZING SEA VIEWS - SLEEPS 4 +2
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (53)
"This location is a little preview of Heaven. The views of the ocean, the green fields, mountains, are out of this world, and it is the quietest, most peaceful place I have ever been. You might hear an occasional "baaaa' by the neighbors, "the sheep". Now to the 1800's house...it reminded me of my grandparent's house. It is very comfortable, and looked like what I imagined a Scottish home would be. We wanted the culture of the Scottish people to come through. It was quaint, and we loved it. We...

Ridge End Cottage
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "

Hugh’s Highland Hideaway
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again."

New - Central Portree Sleeps 4
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (66)
"We enjoyed our stay in Portree. The apartment was comfortable and cozy and larger than I thought it would be. The apartment is in the perfect location as a home base for seeing Skye and walking to restaurants in town after long days of site seeing. We felt right at home."

Taigh Mhuirne, 5, Shepherd's Road
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (40)
"Cute house in a centrally located neighborhood, within walking distance to groceries and downtown Portree. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials and was comfortable for our family. One bedroom could stand a new mattress as our kids could feel some springs. Also some blackout curtains would be great in the Spring/Summer months as it is light most of the day and night. But other than it was cute and nice and we’d recommend it to others."

"The cottage was very well situated to explore and enjoy the Isle of Skye. We loved the private setting with a wonderful view across water to hills in the background. It was a very relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the island. The Croft cottage has been expertly renovated and is well appointed."

Luxury Super Central Cottage with a Hot Tub/ Gym
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"We were looking for a rental house in the Isle of Skye area and found choices to be limited. While this place wasn't awful, we would try to find something else if we ever return to this area. Good things: Easy walk down the road into Portree for restaurants and shopping. Had a dedicated parking space for your vehicle. Has a washer/dryer combo unit (in a kitchen cabinet; hard to find). Not-so-good things: No communication with Host; only received an day-of email with check-in instructions. It's...

Dunhallin Ard, Waternish

"We stayed at this amazing VRBO property and loved every day we were there. We wish we had stayed longer ! The house itself is perfection and so comfortable. The location is amazing.....about 30 min from Portree and in an off the beaton path location which is Heavan. The views are amazing. The welcome information was all on a digital screen which was really clever. We loved every day here and will return one day ! Barb and Dan"

Piper's Hut - Central apartment
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"Me and my wife have travelled the north of Scotland for our honeymoon. No place has been as good in quality and services as the Piper’s Hut. We’ve had at our private usage a little flat, with kitchen, bathroom, coffee machine, fridge, toaster, food… It was five minutes foot distance to the city centre of Portree, which is the biggest city on Skye Island and a strategic location for trip routes exploring the island. We met Megan, she has been lovely and caring. We she and Alex discovered of our...

Bracken Hide Hotel
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (59)
"These are essentially glamping pods. They are so nicely designed and decorated. Very cozy. They even had face clothes, the only hotel on the entire trip that did. I have learned to pack my own for trips to the UK. The only downside was that we had to park in a car park and walk up a hillside on uneven gravel to reach the unit. They took our luggage up in a golf cart. But they wouldn't offer a ride to us. As seniors, it was a bit of a drawback for us."
