Magnificent newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage with 35 ft of seawall in Cudjoe Key. Located in the lower Florida Keys at MM#23 only 20 minutes to Key West. Our cottage is in the gated community of Venture Out.

This cozy home was in a convenient location to Key West and had what 4 adults needed for 3 nights. We enjoyed the beds, the bicycles, and the resort amenities. The beds took up the bedrooms, so space was tight. Hot water and pressure were a challenge, as was the wifi.

Good location if you need a home base for visiting different locations. Close to Key West, Marathon and Bahia Honda State Park. Small issue with registration as their credit machine was not working but luckily we had cash (this was not property owners fault). It had a funky smell when we first arrived but was better after opening the windows.

Great family Vacation

Nice place a little something for everyone. The grand baby loved the kiddie pool and playground. We love that we could fish right out of the back door, or they have a beautiful area to fish near the community pool. The rental was very clean, and the surrounding neighbors were really nice. Would stay again in the future.

Great keys vacation home

We always enjoy staying at venture out. They have everything you need right on the premises. Janet’s house was perfect for myself and three kids. Right on the canal so the kids could fish and even had a manatee come right up to us. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property. We had a nice, relaxing stay. Check in was fast and easy. If you plan on cooking during your stay be sure to bring condiments. Reading the reviews before I came saved me from a second trip to the grocery store.

We loved being able to sit out on the porch and watch the neighbors boats come in. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. The hosts were available and very easy to work with. We recommend it.

Good location

Rental was clean when we arrived. Had everything you would need for a week stay. Bed was comfortable, air was cold. The bikes was alittle weathered with the chains being rusted and one wasn’t working properly. Covered porch was nice in the morning for coffee - alittle on the hot side during the evening hours. The resort was clean and quiet . The pool was nice and watching the sunrise from the common areas was amazing.

A Stay in May

The address listed is not helpful because it wasn't specific enough for Google maps. Not a big deal since the guards at the gate can guide you. The fee to be paid at the gate was not correct - and if you use a debit or credit card you get charged an extra amount. Cash gets the best price. The entrance is very odd with a bed one foot away from the door opening. You quickly figure out that the back door is the better option. The Venture Out community is very relaxing with nice amenities including salt water pool, hot tub, and a convenience store. It also had a perfect spot to watch sunrises.The house has a TV that wouldn't connect to the Internet - so we couldn't watch anything but that was okay because we could socialize with our friends. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, coffee machines and more.

Relaxing and fun!

We had a great time at this house on Cudjoe Key in the Venture Out neighborhood. We easily checked in at the gate. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing and safe. Getting into the house is a little awkward with the main entrance in the second bedroom but once we got everything on the house we just used the back door. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We used the bikes for a ride in the evenings around the neighborhood and it is right on a trail we could have done if we wanted something a little longer. We had a couple of rods and fished right in the backyard. We saw lots of fish but only caught a couple. Our teenagers enjoyed it. We loved having the kayaks but didn’t have time to use them. The master bedroom mattress was soo comfortable! The kitchen had plenty stocked in order for us to make a few meals. We only stayed a few days but would definitely come back and stay here again. Beautiful and relaxing sitting on the back porch watching the sun set and the kids fish.
