Spacious and peaceful
We had a wonderful two weeks on the Crozon peninsula. The outskirts of Crozon where the property is located is ideal for exploring the rest of the peninsula by car, bike or on foot - we did all of these. It is a pleasant 10 minute mostly uphill walk into Crozon town where you can find all you need. It is about a 15 minute walk downhill to lovely Morgat. The roads and beaches were quiet even in the middle of summer.
The house is pretty and practical and worked well for us (two families of 4 with teenage plus boys). Two double bedrooms upstairs in the main part of the house for the adults and two double bedrooms in the extension part of the house - quite far away from the main bedrooms. There was table tennis in the garage which was great.
Some of the furnishings and accessories were a little dated - some new mugs for tea and coffee and drinking glasses would be a good idea.
There is plenty of space to park and the garden is large - lots of visiting chickens from next door but they were no trouble. Although there is an airer for drying washing a washing line would have been useful as there were 8 people.
Mr and Mrs Retout were there to meet us (we came a day later than the official day) and they came back before we left (at 5.30am as we had to catch an early ferry). They were very friendly and helpful and we just about got by with our limited French and their limited English! We rented bedding and towels from them which were fresh and good quality but this along with the extra electric, water and municipal charges did increase the original price by some way.
We had a fantastic holiday helped by fantastic weather and a quiet location. Thank you.

Séjour pluvieux mais heureux
La maison est spacieuse, confortable, bien équipée et propre. Elle est divisée en espaces clairement définis, chacun peut s’y sentir à l’aise, coin salle à manger directement relié à la cuisine, elle-même reliée à la buanderie, coin salon avec cheminée, bien pourvu en sièges, véranda attenante agréablement meublée, 2 grandes chambres à l’étage avec grande salle de bain, toilettes séparées, palier. Une autre partie de la maison est dévolue à la nuit, 2 chambres plus petites, une salle d’eau et des toilettes séparées. Le garage attenant bien pratique pour stocker. Un grand jardin, des terrasses, un barbecue, équipements dont nous n’avons pas profité mais qui doivent être bien appréciés aux beaux jours. Propriétaires sympathiques. A partir de Crozon nous avons rayonné et en seulement une semaine nous avons visité 10 sites touristiques. Un conseil, réserver si vous voulez déjeuner ou dîner au restaurant, la Bretagne est à la mode! La ville de Crozon offre toutes les commodités et le petit port de Morgat très coloré est charmant, même en décembre.
