"Very nice place. If you don’t like animals do not stay here. There were probably 5 different people with dogs while we were there. It was fine with us because we love animals but if you are not a dog lover or afraid of dogs I would not stay here. The only complaint is there was a photo of a hot tub on the website but there is not a hot tub. Everything else was as expected. We would stay here again.

"Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Water was hot and the AC was cold....
Only 2 things that were keeping it from 5 stars. 1. The towels and wash clothes were old, gray and rough instead of white and soft. And the breakfast. The dining area is super small and the food options are seriously limited. Waffle iron, kids cereal, and gravy with a limited assortment of stale baked goods.
That being said, I will be staying anytime I'm in the area.

"If you are looking for a secluded stay this is it! It is just as listed, rustic, historic, quaint and quiet. It was a great place for my cousins and I to have a get together. The owner was very attentive and came right away when we had a problem with the fireplace and hot tub. If you are looking for a five star resort this is not for you. If you are looking to relax in the country it will not disappoint."
