"The room was fine.. our only downfall was no elevator. (No choice of floors when making reservation that I saw. So was difficult for my friend that can’t do steps well at all) Breakfast was GREAT."

"We absolutely loved the house. Enjoyed sitting out on the back patio looking at stars in the hot tub the first evening. The house was a great layout for our family of 4 and our pup. Steve had everything we needed for cooking in the house and his communication was outstanding. Can tell that he’s a very good man. Great taste in the wall art! We were so comfortable, the neighbors were fantastic when we went for walks, and it was such a quiet neighborhood. We look forward to our next stay. Thank you so much, Steve!"

"My arrival was complicated because I did not receive the information about my room assignment and the code to get in. There was no office on site. Fortunately, another resident helped me and then someone arrived who worked on the property. I did connect with Mike and and got the information I needed. The start was complicated. However, the room was delightful – clean charming. I would give it high marks. My only comment other than what happened at arrival is that I only got tepid water for a shower. It would’ve been nice to have creamer envelopes available for the coffee. But those are little things. The room itself was clean, charming pleasant. I would choose it again now that I know how to get into the room."

"Very well equipped house for our stay. It was HOT during our stay in Spearfish and the air conditioning was excellent. Propane gas canister ran out during our stay and was promptly replaced. The weather was too hot to use the hot tub. Enjoyed the stat, hope to come back."

"My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Hen House. The property was exactly as pictured (perfect for 2 people) and in a quiet location just a few minutes from downtown Spearfish. We were surprised there was no tv as we hadn’t caught that in the description, but we really didn’t miss it and would stay at the property again."

"We had a wonderful stay in Spearfish, and our host truly made the experience exceptional. Communication was clear, prompt, and friendly from start to finish. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.
