This was a great little 2-bedroom cabin. It's far back from the road so you have a nice secluded yard to hang out in. All the basic amenities you might need.
We stayed at the cabin while visiting family over Thanksgiving. It was a sweet little home for us away from home. The grounds were lovely to view from the windows. Everything is set for enjoying time out doors on the deck and at the fire pit. We would happily stay here again.
Wife and I have stayed here a couple of times and will be back. On the main road but nestled back on a private drive you get the feeling of full privacy. Grounds are nice with a few walking paths. Easy drive almost directly across the street to Cumberland Mountain State Park.
This is a great option if you want to take advantage of Cumberland Mountian State Park (within walking distance if you choose). The house offers everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative is the bathroom, and this would not be an issue if you were with parents and kids, but if you are staying with friends, it makes it awkward not to have a bathroom door close all the way.
Girls trip great cabin right off 127 near sales but off on private 4 acres so no traffic jam and quiet.
Nice front and back deck peaceful for eve wine and morning coffee. We stayed here for entire sale as home base went north and south 127 would start in morning till they closed. Highly recommend for anytime in area.
The property is exactly like the pictures even better. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable nicely decorated. Everything went smooth from check in to check out. I definitely will be back. Thank you Brooke for a wonderful stay in your beautiful place
This little house was so cozy & absolutely perfect! It was very clean & fixed up to be very modern. TV/wifi worked perfectly; there was even laundry! The deck/back yard were adorable and had a nice are for a fire and a setup for bags. It was also within an hour of all places I wanted to see (waterfalls/swimming holes) and within a half hour of most of them. Location is very quiet & peaceful. Clearly, I can’t say enough about this property; we’d stay here again & again! *Not very close to “bigger” cities, but that’s exactly how we like it!
Very cute. Very clean. Great location for us as we went to Nashville, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, and a couple of the national parks. Check in and out was easy. And that was good because it was my 1st Vrbo experience. Having the washer and dryer was nice and now i dont have all of it to do when i get home. Grill was nice too. We did have a herd of deer run thru the backyardthrubyard
Excellent location near Cumberland Mountain State Park
The cabin is beautifully nestled in the woods off the highway. Is was quiet and secluded yet close to all of the hiking and activities of the state park (we recommend driving so you're not crossing the highway on foot). The little Italian restaurant next door was great (try the apple torte!), and they had a pianist Friday night. We did feel that there should be additional seating for meals and storage/dressers in the bedrooms. All in all, the cabin met our needs for a relaxing weekend away from home. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get away and enjoy peace and quiet.
My son and I came to Tennessee to celebrate my grandsons first birthday. I picked this vrbo for a couple of reasons, first, I loved the pictures and how clean and uncluttered it was, secondly, as a just in case if my grandson were to visit I wanted a place that was safe and an area to enjoy. Unfortunately our schedule kept us away from truly enjoying all the amenities, I would definitely book this very clean, quiet and tucked away cabin. Brooke was also very responsive and friendly.
It was a nice country setting. . Lots of wild life, rabbits ,birds , two spotted fawns came into the back yard and at night you could see the fireflies flickering. It was comfortable except for the humidity. Regular airconding would cut the humidity better than a swampcooler, but it is Summer, hot everywhere !

The host was responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. There were a few things that we did not particularly like such as we saw multiple dead bugs on the walls (spider webs, with spiders), it was right off the highway which we didn't realize (we thought it was more secluded), and the last 2 nights, when we turned on the heat, there was what smelled like a dead animal smell. We did not smell this the first night.
Despite these issues, the cabin had a covered porch that we listened to a storm from, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. All in all, our stay was average (stayed at better but also stayed at worse).

Not Bad, Not Fantastic
We stayed for 3 nights and it wasnt too bad. Fairly bare bones. Not much as far as amenities but walmart was fairly close. Had a couple run ins with some bugs inside but nothing crazy. Beds were clean. Britta filter was nasty, we bought water from walmart. Privacy doesnt exist as there isnt a door inside that locks (outside doors do lock). Its definitely close to Cumberland Mountain State Park so not a bad spot if you are going there.
This being my 1st Vrbo ever I was pleasantly surprised. I have heard some horror stories. Loved all the small details and the privacy of this place. If I blinked I would have missed the driveway. Set back from the road. Quiet. Private. Loved the seclusion. Best words I can think of shabby chic cabin. Front porch/curb appeal beautiful flowers in front. Nice front porch. Very welcoming. Inside was minimalist (love that!) and brought in new styles of barn doors. Updated appliances in kitchen. Nice back porch with an area in backyard for a fire. Surrounded by woods. Cabin's thermostat was set at 71 and perfect the entire time, never had to adjust it and it was 80-90's the whole time and really humid outside. Bed was very comfortable. Nice little restaurant with great food right next door next to driveway and road. Enjoyed this stay very much. I believe anyone whether single, couple or small family would enjoy this as well. My daughter stayed with other family but when she stopped by she really liked this place as well. Thank you for the great stay.
Perfect little getaway! Everything was so nice and clean. The home smells wonderful upon entering which is always a plus. The back of the property is absolutely stunning and a great place to relax! Loved that it is so close to Cumberland State Park. Perfect!!
