This was a perfect place for our extended family get together. The location, the host, and the house were excellent. Our grand kids caught their first fish from the dock and then they caught even more!
We had a wonderful stay. The home is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Great views and quiet location on a small bay with easy access to Rush Lake and beyond. Highly recommend this property.
We had a big group, 10 of us, aged 9 yrs to 88 yrs !! We all enjoyed the super spacious home that was filled with fun things like dart board, pool table, bag toss, great firepit and of course, that beautiful lake! Perfect place for a wonderful family get away!!
As others have said, plenty of spaces for groups to spread out. Screen porch was a popular game room. Enjoyed boating to sand bars and restaurants. And a great plus for boat owners is the protected bay so boats sit quietly at the dock no matter what the wind might be doing.
The "cabin"(/house) was in immaculate condition with everything as advertised. The minor problems that we had (you will always have some) were addressed immediately and completely taken care of. The accommodations were extraordinary and very comfortable. The dining table provided room for all 12 of us at once which made for great family time! The grandkids loved fishing and swimming right from the dock. Great place for fires and star-gazing at night. Easy access to all of the Whitefish chain for great cruising and water sports from a "great little" no-wake bay . Some nice island beaches close by that are accessible for public use. Perfect location!
After a weekend of celebration, the newlyweds, their parents and relatives needed to unwind. The house was large enough 4 couples. Well equipped, comfortable beds, hot tub, grills, kayaks. We didn't have enough time(5 night stay) to enjoy all the amenities. The host was prompt to address any issues (smoke detector chirping) and was pleasant to meet.A beautiful, spacious home with a vibe meant for people to enjoy.
The home is situated in an amazing location on a very quiet bay but close to local restaurants on the water. The home itself is very large and fit our family very comfortably. The basement was a great space for us all to hang out with fun amenities and ample space for us all. We ran in to a few very minor issues during our stay but the host was very responsive with amazing communication throughout. Highly recommend.
Beautiful home in a very peaceful, quiet cove off Rush lake. Plenty of room for our family reunion - fun outdoor space, nice deck with a hot tub for star gazing, great fire pit, large dining, family room and basement entertainment areas. Kitchen made for some great family cooking. Saw deer, a large turtle, loons, golden eagle, lots of little fish. Dock was great for our rented pontoon and nice access to both Cross and Whitefish lakes. Dan was an attentive host and answered any questions we had promptly. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
This property was even more beautiful in person.
Lots of water toys for the kids…paddle boating, paddle boards, kayaks, tubes. Fishing right off the dock was great with a steady action. Caught sunfish, northern pike, and largemouth bass. Rented a pontoon right on lower white lake which was right around the corner of the cabin.
Bring shampoo and conditioner. The dining area seats 12 easily plus you have the 3 season porch with picnic table. Great family vacation spot.
This was our second stay at this beautiful house on the Whitefish chain of lakes and the house is as amazing as last year. It is very well stocked, very well taken care of, and the property owner, Dan, is very quick to respond with any questions. Checking in and out are very easy and the house was very well cleaned. The location is ideal. We did bring our own pontoon so the dock and ability to keep that there was also perfect.
We really enjoyed fishing from the dock each day and the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The little bay is fairly shallow and makes it great for spotting fish and other wildlife (turtles). We also used the driveway quite a bit for badminton, bags, and giant checkers.
We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return again next summer.
Very nice property in great location. Not having a recycling option when you have 10 people staying somewhere for a week is a little odd but overall a great place. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed the secluded cove this home was located in, just outside the busy Rush Lake. The views from the living room to lake are stunning & this owner has so many fun amenities to enjoy. Our family had a great time!
House is on beautiful calm cove so kids were able to swim and paddle board safely. Log home is spectacular and large enough for 12 with lots to do... We had great weather all week which made it even more fun!
