"This is about check-in staff - for constructive criticism. We stood at front desk & staff was on phone assisting someone & was unable to find what the person was looking for. Never made eye contact with us or gesture she would be a moment. They told person on phone let me connect you to our 1-800 and instead of doing that kept talking again, not acknowledging us. We waited about 10-15 minutes which wasn't a problem, it would have been nice to put call on hold or say to us she would be a minute....

"The people are very nice and there are always rooms avail. I love getting the one with the hot tub in the room. The pool is broken down and gross and probably a mosquito pit. The rooms were cleaned but not very good there was pee on the seat when we came in and the floors were so dirty my feet were black."

Take your own pillows, sheets and towels. Also, this is a camping like experience. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. This is a place to get away from it all. The last 5 miles to the location are in white rock roads. I will return again and again"

New Year’s Eve Getaway!
"From the moment everyone stepped foot inside, we were all in awe, of the space, details of each room, the views from the rooms and balconies. The kids enjoyed their time in the play room and bunk beds, we saw them when it was time to eat or they needed snacks. Many games, and activities that kept them busy and smiling. The house was dictated with a beautiful Christmas tree and other decor that kept the spirit going. We canoed on the lake, did some fishing, the neighbors caught a big ol one, had snores on the grill and just enjoyed each activity. The drive up from dallas was none other than quick, and we will certainly be back in the summer. Thank you to the wonderful host, as they were great communicators before, during and after our stay!"
