"This house is amazing! Very different from every other place I've stayed. The interior is so eclectic. The design is Japanese, with many sliding doors. An amazing collection of books and albums, Asian and Native American art. The light switches can be a bit hard to find, but that adds to the adventure of discovering the house. The owner was great and easy to reach. One bummer was that the hot tub heater was inoperative, but the owner was very up front about that and even offered a discount. Location is also great, very close to the Coupeville ferry and to the town center. "

"The house was very nice. It isn't evident from the photos, but it's a duplex unit comprising half of a house, separated from the other half by double-locking doors. The rooms were spacious and the view can't be beat! You are situated right on the waterfront. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the marine traffic heading to Seattle. We saw two different pods of porpoises swim by. The rooms in this house are awash in sunny light. The kitchen was well-appointed. Check-in and check-out procedures were clear and the one time we reached out with a question, the hosts answered prompty. We had a great stay and would definitely rent this home again. Thanks!"

"The house and view were gorgeous. We appreciated the welcome basket and how comfortable the home was for quality family time. Unfortunately, beyond the owners control, we had trouble sleeping due to the local jet training. At the time that I booked this rental, the Jet Carrier Training Schedule had: “Afternoon to Late Night,” however it was alarming that it went until 12:45am. I believe it’s important to be transparent and stress in the rental info how these jet trainings can be extremely loud with many of jets causing the house to vibrate as they pass by. Can you imagine kids being up that late and not able to sleep? It made us feel sorry for the community that has to put up with this on a regular basis. The rental should update the online information to warn that it can be extremely loud, depending on the jet schedules. Not the relaxing getaway we were hoping for but one we will definitely remember. "

"The property was very nice. There is a wood stove which was very nice and the beds were great. The downstairs bath tub did not work. No flexibility with check in or check out times at all. I felt the background check was violating my privacy and not sure i trust them with a picture they can use to open my apps "
