"Great night in a great room - warm and cosy on a cold November night. Dinner was excellent and the morning Full Scottish breakfst really hit the spot! Staff very friendly and helpful throughout. "

"Regrettably we never used the restaurant as my daughter was ill. The hotel however was excellent. Room was really quiet and comfortable. It was clean and modernly decorated. The only thing to improve would be having a fan in the bathroom as when showering the walls & mirror etc were dripping wet."

"Had an amazing stay what a fantastic place cottage so clean and comfortable and everything you needed it was so nice to just sit either in the house or out on the bench and just watch the abundance of sea birds its so peaceful and relaxing there which is what we needed after the year we have had few stresses over the pet sitter but didnt stop us enjoying it and the weather was lovely and sunny and dry it was a nice touch to have the acrylic pens to be able to decorate a stone and leave it in the garden.we did peterhead jail and fyvie castle in turiff both really good and best place in turiff to eat was the rustic grill food was amazing the knowes hotel and restaurant in macduff was great to we also had great fish and chips from fish and things.we wished we could stay longer but we will definitely be back"
