"We had a great stay in this guesthouse. The guys were excellent hosts. I was nursing an injury from the the Camino and they were really kind and helpful. When we first arrived, hot and tired, we were greeted with a cool drink in the shade and we knew that we were in the right place. Tu has good local knowledge and helped with things like dinner reservations and fresh fruit from their orchard. We would definitely recommend this little oasis. "

"We stayed for 2 nights in October. The mobile home was basic but perfectly adequate - the only downside was the lack of mugs/tea cups - only tiny espresso cups! The campsite is very well maintained and the walk around the lake is beautiful. We would certainly return if we wanted to stay in the area in the future."

"Nuitée très agréable. La yourte est magnifique , très joliment meublée avec un bel extérieur. Le coin jeux est très appréciable lorsque l'on vient avec des enfants. Il ne manque rien pour passer de bons moments, que se soit dans la yourte, dans le bloc sanitaire ou à l'extérieur. Bon accueil, une hôte à l'écoute de ses clients et petit déjeuner copieux. "This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "
