"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay a 6Stanco. Ruth is an excellent host, providing us with lots of advice both before and during our stay. The appartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Stanco is a small village but the local shop in Grizzana is well stocked and larger supermarkets are available in nearby towns. "The first and biggest problem is that the apartment smelt like a sewer and the smell became worse by the day. On top of that, it was so damp that my clothes were moist. The aircon didn’t work. This was a problem in March when it wasn’t even 15 degrees so must be hell in the summer. The TV didn’t work either. Very, very basic amenities and stupid things like an iron but no ironing board. Little things like salt and pepper or a bit of washing powder cost a host very little but mean a lot to...

"Isolated. Have to walk up a Hill for 30 minutes with luggage. First supermarkt is in another village. ( Marzabotto ) We walked for 40 minutes to buy Some food and water. We booked and payed for 3 nights but left afther 1 night. Never met te owner in person, only spoke through whats app. The studio is really nice and okay and nature surronding has beauty but there is nothing you can do with it. There is nothing there. You need a car and that should be very clear when you book!"
