"It was awesome but expensive"

Beautiful Waterfront Cabin on Kootenay Lake

"This rental was perfect for our meet up with some special friends. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. We brought our own BBQ because we are fussy about clean grills, but there is one on the large deck. The seating area in the living room was very comfortable (different from pictures). One thing that is not pictured on the listing is the bathrooms. The main suite bathroom has a beautiful shower and deep jet tub it was very lovely, and the upstairs shower has a river rock floor-equally nice. The weather was a bit chilly while we stayed and there lake was quite high so we were unable to access the dock without getting wet. The parking is a bit tight, we had two pick ups, and had to be creative with parking as to not inconvenience the neighbor. (Who are very nice people with lots of knowledge about the area.) The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to answer any question. He even took the time to give us fishing information, walking paths, and things to do in the area.The view was absolutely spectacular to sit on the deck and have your morning coffee or a late evening cocktail.We definitely would recommend staying at this listing, we just wish it wasn't so far for us to get there. Thanks for the memories:)"
