"We were fortunate to stay in a comfortable, spacious room on the 1st floor close to an exit where we parked our vehicle. We were also close to the pool, lobby and breakfast area. In spite of the high traffic near our room, it was remarkably quiet. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Lots of choices - eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereals, pancakes. We enjoyed the 24hr coffee/tea/hot cocoa & juice station. Great place to stay in Erie, close to the interstate, shopping and local attractions."

"The room was clean and comfortable. It accommodated a family of 5 easily and comfortably. Breakfast was standard and perfect for our travel schedule. Parking was easy and located near our room. Presque Isle State Park was a short drive and was absolutely beautiful. We intend to return to spend more time there. Definitely would stay again if we are ever in the Erie area."

"This is our go to place in Erie. Can't be beat for the price. Clean, comfy, no frills. Nice pool, free hot breakfast, shopping and restaurants near by. Splurged and got the whirlpool tub this time. Nice to soak in after a long day."

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for. We wanted to be close to the beach and close to Waldemere Park. We have them coming up as a family for the last 15 years usually stay at a hotel and this was so much more convenient. The back deck was nice. The inside has been beautifully redone. Beds or extremely comfortable. Nice big open floor plan. The host was easy to reach. If I had a question the checking in an out process was very simple with the code to the door."

"Nick's Place is like a secret in the community. This family-owned and run business is impeccably kept. The staff is outstanding. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The breakfast is a "make your own" event, where there is a big kitchen and various choices to put together for yourself. The hours of breakfast are reasonable for those trying to relax and not get up at sunrise to get something to eat! It is not an ordinary run of the mill hotel property. Attached mini golf course is available, and the location is convenient to Edinboro University. I highly recommend this lodging."
