Basic room. Good access to the mountain. Generally clean; the tub and sink could have been cleaned better. Friendly staff. Would stay there again

Accommodation is right at the base of the ski hill. Very convenient. Reception check in went smoothly. Staff are very friendly. Good sized room and well furnished.

The location of this property for access to the hill is fantastic. Just long, long overdue for some TLC, renovations and bedding upgrades. Not great value for the condition.

The beds were very uncomfortable like sleeping on an RV mattress. No maid service while staying multiple days. No ice machines on site. The hostess was very pleasant and location was excellent.

To say this is a 2 star resort I think is a little generous. Quite expensive stay considering I was only able to stay one of the two nights (due to an injury of one of the people in my party) and no refunds were being offered for cancelling one of the two nights. Very conveniently located near the lifts, so that's a positive thing. Felt more like a 70's motel than a "hotel" inside. Maybe it's time for an upgrade?

What ever you do make sure you have a cancellation option or insurance to cancel as the owner will not refund any payments no matter how unskiable the hill is which is often the case.

This place shouldn’t be considered a hotel or a lodge. It should be considered a hostel or even worse a dormitory. The front desk is open limited hours and even less than the hours stated on their multiple messages they keep sending Expedia. The rooms albeit was clean in terms of sheets pillows and bath towels. The good part is the shower is good but drainage is another story. The fridge was decent. Now for the bad, paper thin walls, uncomfortable beds where you can feel the spring coils and lumpy pillows, floor was dirty. The list could go on forever. Probably never will come back again. The amount of noise from drunken or high kids in the halls were unreal. No point to contact the front desk as there was no one there after 6 and no one even in the morning either.

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean plus being right on the hill and able to ski to the entrance at the end of the day is awesome. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is on the mountain so there are limited dining options in the evening. Other than that, it was great.

There is not a better place, for the price, on any ski hill I have ever been too. Steps away from the lifts, front row parking. Slopeside is amazing. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Location unbeatable, convenient for skiing. The beds need replacing asap. Lack of services made it feel more like a hostel than a hotel. No cleaning services available even for longer stays, garbage removal, etc all is self-serve. Clean enough to start but after 4 days with people staying in the room, we needed some additional service.

Ideal location, friendly staff. I showed up way before check in, Madison mentioned a room might be available earlier. She then phones me to let me know my room was ready. Really nice of her.

Great spot to ski in right to the hill . One thing the rooms need a bigger fridge . Couldn’t put anything barely in it .

The front desk staff was awesome. She was super friendly and helpful. The room was dated but clean and comfortable. Not a hotel issue, but was quite surprised to see that most of the restaurants on the hill were closed by 5pm. There were many great options for food in town.

This property has easy access to the base of the Fernie slopes with a short walk. The property is in very poor condition. There are multiple stains on the hall floors that look like vomit stains. The beds are old and pillows are yellow/lumpy/thin. Towels are tattered and thin. The tub/shower is stained and the caulking is mouldy. We wore sandals in the room. RCR - the owner of Fernie, needs to step up. We also went to a non RCR ski hill this trip and the on hill budget accommodation was wonderful.

How can there be no hot tub? No ice machine? No ski storage? 5pm check in is really weird too, why not 2 pm like so many resorts? Checkout should be 11, not 10. That also is weird, ha. Puke stains in the hallways everywhere. We also left behind some airpods and a glass container of milk, hopefully we get those back, please. The one beer and soda left were done so on purpose, enjoy. Staff were pleasant.

Unfortunately the hot tubs were removed years ago. The ice machine is broken we are looking at replacements. Due to staff housing we closed the ski lockers. Due to staff shortages we have been unable to return to normal check in and check out times. The "puke stains" are actually chemical stains someone spilled bleach on the carpets. I will certainly have a look for your airpods and get back to you as soon as possible if they are found.
