"Remodel was done as cheap as possible and it showed. Staff while not unfriendly, but not friendly. They didn’t feel approachable. Not a bad stay, but I wouldn’t go back either. "
"Driveway was bumpy and horrible. Had a hard time sleeping, the lights outside were way to bright, hard a room darkening blind but the light shines in around it, could walk around the room without turn the lights on at night. Also it took 10-15 minutes before the water got hot to take a shower, was starting to think they had no hot water."
"This hotel was massively over rated .To start the landscaping has not seen care in months , next almost every painted surface inside the hotel is soiled , the carpets were filthy and covered with litter . Upon arrival I mention this to the desk clerk he said he would have the carpets in the hallway vacuumed ( it never happened during my 4 day stay . The lobby furnishing were worn and out dated and the breakfast was very low quality . The hotel was operated by a certain ethnic group that seems to pinch pennies at every turn . The only positive feature at the property was that it was price slightly lower than the other surrounding hotels . They have a sign posted showing a 8.2 rating in the lobby ,I would give the property a 3 out of 10"
"We were told that breakfast was not included. I am not sure why I got the idea that we were supposed to have breakfast available, perhaps I read in reviews. Our family of 5 had 3 rooms in the basement! AC was not working at check in. Rooms were tiny with cement unfinished-looking floors. There were no tables/chairs in our rooms. My room was noisy - I could hear others use the bathroom. To my horror, around midnight guests down the hall made terrible noises during what appeared to be intimate encounter - I am mortified. I found the experience mediocre. I will not return to this hotel. "
"We enjoyed our 2 day stay at the Frederick House. Breakfast was delicious. We both enjoyed our choice of breakfast. It is very convenient to town..just one block from Beverly St."
"Very convenient off I81.
Facilities a bit dated, but all was adequate and clean.
Very nice and attentive staff.
Tv channels not in HD.
Breakfast was limited. Biscuits and gravy was the only hot offering.
Realized we had stayed there years ago, and would again.
Very good deal versus other options.
Queen beds. "
