"The property is exactly what you’d imagine an Alpine stay to be. The field hut was a marvel, we must of spent the first half an hour checking out how well appointed the field hut was. Warm tones, copper fittings, lovely rugs, generous lounge room with a great view. We walked in to a warm, gently lit house after driving 5 hours and arriving at night. It was bang on for the weary traveller! Sonja and Warren were very accommodating. They even prepared a sleeping cot and high chair for our little one, which was a brilliant surprise. A home cooked lamb shoulder and smoked trout on the last night was just fantastic. Could not recommend highly enough. "

"Wonderful weekend, highly recommend Thredbo Alpine Hotel. Perfectly situated in the middle of Thredbo Village, easy access to restaurants and bars. FYI there are no lifts in this hotel, if you have trouble with stairs be mindful when booking. "

"My 5 year old daughter and I enjoyed a fantastic stay here. Great accommodation and service. Awesome views and close to bus stop for lift to snow fields. Never waited more than 5 mins for the bus. 5 min walk to centre of Thredbo. Would definately return. "

"What a beautiful new wing to the hotel. The bedroom upstairs had fantastic lake views (given the name). The fixtures and fittings are very high end. Hope they redo the whole site to the new wing standard. I liked the contactless check in with your room pin code sent to your phone. The lady at breakfast marking people off the list was very welcoming and full of smiles. So great to see. Really enjoyed my stay."
