    THE ESTATE
There is a reason bourbon people travel in groups. And now there is a place worthy of the whole crew.

Prather Ridge Estate is a sweeping 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom Kentucky country home set on 5 private acres in the rolling hills of Nelson County, the undisputed heartland of American bourbon. Five king beds, one queen, and 4.5 bathrooms across the home. This is the rare Bourbon Trail property designed for a real group, not a compromise.

Bachelorette weekend on the Bourbon Trail. Family reunion. Annual friends' trip. Corporate retreat that actually feels like a reward. Whatever the occasion, Prather Ridge Estate gives everyone their own beautifully appointed bedroom, their own breathing room, and all the shared space needed to come together and truly enjoy a trip.

No hotel hallways. No 3-room blocks that split the group. Just one magnificent estate, yours entirely, on 5 private acres of Kentucky countryside.

Wrap up a full day of distillery touring and come home to something special. Step onto the 3/4 wraparound porch and take in the Kentucky hill country as the evening light fades over the ridge. Pull up an Adirondack chair as the stars come out. Ease into the 6-person hot tub under an open Kentucky sky. Slip into the 2-person infrared sauna and let the day's miles melt away. Challenge the group to a pickleball or table tennis tournament in the Entertainment Barn. Then let half the group disappear into the Bourbon Lounge upstairs with a pour and a conversation that goes until midnight.

The world-famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail is your backyard — Heaven Hill, Lux Row, Preservation Distillery, Maker’s Mark, Bardstown Bourbon Company, and more are all within 30–45 minutes. Historic Bardstown, the Bourbon Capital of the World, is 25 minutes away for dinner, live music, and the Old Kentucky Dinner Train. And Taylorsville Lake is just 10 minutes up the road for anyone who wants to swap a tasting room for a pontoon.

There is not another home like this available between Louisville and Bardstown. Prather Ridge Estate is the group-ready estate the Kentucky Bourbon Trail has been waiting for.

Excellent house and property. Centrally located for us to go to Bardstown or to Lawrenceburg. The porch was the star of the show.

This house was fantastic! It was spacious and decorated beautifully. I love that there were extra trash bags, lots of coffee, creamer, cooking supplies, just about everything you would need except for aluminum foil. We cooked on the grill and that was perfect as well. The quiet, remote area was peaceful and restful. TVs in every room and an extra gathering area upstairs allowed for private time so that you don't miss your favorite TV show or need a bit of time to work separately from other guests. We were hosting a work retreat and it just happened to fall on Derby weekend. The property was priced higher for that reason. I recommend this property and would definitely return in the future.
