This is an old fireplace about three miles into the trail. The original house dated back to the early to mid eighteen hundreds. Originally this was a one room house where the only source of heat is the only part still standing.

He communicated promptly and made everything feel seamless and welcoming before we even arrived.The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, rural, and surrounded by nature—yet the cabin still offers all the modern comforts (which my wife definitely appreciated!). It strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and cozy convenience.Everything was thoughtfully prepared for guests: plenty of firewood for relaxing evenings by the firepit, fishing rods ready to go, and even a canoe for those feeling adventurous enough to explore the lake. It felt like every detail had been carefully considered to create a memorable stay.We left feeling refreshed and grateful to have found such a hidden gem.
