"We had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We loved the deck and really enjoyed the hummingbirds as well as the numerous other birds. The deer were beautiful and the chipmunks were always entertaining. We go to Angel Fire to get away from the busy life of a large city so we had a chance to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. It feels remote but is really only a few minutes from the lake, Country Club or Village of Angel Fire. An the hot tub was truly icing on the cake. We have crossed off seeing a deer while in a hot tub off our Bucket List. "

"Grinning Bear Lodge was exactly as advertised. Quiet, peaceful, and yet close to activities and services. The lodge was very clean and well kept. Everything you need to stay and not leave if that’s what you want to do. Sit on the deck and view the wildlife and the stars. Even saw a bear on the property."

"We truly loved staying at this beautiful cabin in Angel Fire, NM. Such a peaceful and quiet setting. Lots of wildlife and really nice weather. Loved sitting on the deck each morning and afternoon. Nice setting and plenty of seating. This place was very well stocked. The chipmunks were so adorable. We can't wait to go back!!!"
