Cowes Chapel Beach House

This fabulously presented Phillip Island beach house, a stones throw away from Cowes' famous front beach and its main street of shops and eateries.
The comfortable lounge room is nicely complimented with a digital TV.
The outdoor area is accompanied with plenty of seating to accommodate a large number of guests with a Webber BBQ sure to leave tongues wagging, alongside the entertaining area of the garden.
The 2 well presented bedrooms can cater for up to 5 guests with a queen size, triple bunk complimenting the properties comfortability.
The bathroom and toilet have been newly renovated with a large walk in shower. *the property has been freshly painted late August 2025,
The property is also pet friendly, so you are more than welcome to bring your furry friend along.
For those who want to keep fit whilst away, Cowes' local football oval, gym, tennis courts and walking tracks are all within close proximity to the property.
Parking available on the property, plus plenty of spaces available on Chapel St. An Evie Plugshare station is 400m for guests that need a charging station for their car.

This really is a lovely home, in a great location, that is perfect for your next holiday or weekend getaway!

Cosy unit - Perfect location

A very comfortable stay for our whole family, including our big furry baby. Easy walks to the beach and main street/shops/restaurants. Just what we wanted and needed. The owner is very accommodating and great with communication.

Long weekend on Phillip Island

Great location

Wonderful location with a short walk into town or to the beach & playground. A family friendly unit with a table tennis table to entertain the kids in the garage. Check in was quick and easy and the host sent us information on what linen we needed to bring well in advance.Overall we had a wonderful stay, but the house has a very musty smell and could do with a good deep clean.

Easy and clean

Stayed two nights, property was clean and check-in was easy. Well equipped kitchen, property had everything you need, great as a base for exploring the island. Would stay again!

Great location & well kept property!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - freezing weather but the property was delightful. Was super clean when we arrived and no problems getting in. Organised linens which were not ready (miscommunication with the cleaners) but rectified within an hour of arrival. Very convenient access to all of Phillip Island, our family had a great stay.

Good location close to shops and beach. Facilities good but overall cleanliness of property sub par - would pay to have a deep clean from time to time and clean under the furniture from time to time. Overall a good stay because of location but didn’t realise there would be no grassed back area for my dog to spend time.

A great stay again!

We had such a wonderful time in Phillip Island, second time round at the same property. Love the fact we can take our dog and everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops. The property is exactly as described and perfect for our family of 5….. mum, dad, 15, 12 and 7. Would highly recommend this stayz. The property manager is excellent and responsive to any questions immediately, couldn’t have asked for more.

Great family getaway

Nicely presented, clean and tidy. A short car trip to Cowes shops, restaurants, and beach front. About a 10min stroll up a gentle hill. Car spot is quite tight as others have mentioned. (We could get in and out ok but couldn’t fully open doors on both sides for our large family car.) Very comfortable couch and beds. Kids loved darts and table tennis table. Great central location and close (short drive) to major island attractions. (

Needed a Break

Great location, within walking distance to beach & shops, property very cosy, small decking for the dog needed the leaves collected. would have liked a bigger backyard. Unfortunately the weather was terrible.

dreadful experience

Locked out of unit and contact person took two hours to rectify grudgingly. Towels paid for but not there and only one bed made up instead of two. The key lock which was broken, and had apparently been broken for some time according to neighbour who had helped previous people wanting access, a locksmith came and smashed the lock to the ground. The cleaner came next morning and made up the second bed and gave us threadbare towels to use. The person to contact was rude and completely incapable of understanding the predicament we were in arriving at 5pm from Brisbane tired and hungry and wanting to go to the toilet and having to wait for two hours for the key to be given to us. The lock in question only costs $20 from Bunnings and we were not the only people the neighbour had witnessed being locked out. One elderly woman on her own arrived late and couldn't get in and was in tears wondering what to do. Obviously this is unacceptable and we will certainly not be recommending anyone to this accommodation.

Close to Cowes city centre, and all local attractions,Clean Comfortable and well equiped with mall required ammenities. Excellent prompt communication from property manager. Easy check in and check out. Great little place from me and my 2 primary aged kids for a short 4 day stay.

Clean, tidy, roomy. Close to main strip so can walk to all cafes.Comfy bed. Great spacious shower. Dog friendly, yes. But only grass out front , not in enclosed courtyard. Need to bring all things like sheets, pillow cases, towels, tissues, shampoo, soap. Car space as part of the unit, but a tight fit getting in and out. Overall, good place to stay .
