The Inn is a delightful place to originate daily excursions in the area. We were there for an event at Sewanee and it is in an ideal location for access to the University and also the adjacent communities.

Great stay in a unique and charming hotel

We loved our stay here! Each room is unique and the entire place is cozy and charming. Rachel was very friendly and kind and offered a delicious continental breakfast in the morning. We’ll stay again if we’re ever back in town. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, which made it easy to settle in and relax.The location was also perfect for our trip—just a quick 15-minute drive to The University of the South. While you can occasionally hear the train horn, it didn’t impact our trip in a negative way at all. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again!

Definitely recommend this gem for a relaxing, creative retreat. Owner and property management team was welcoming and attentive. Check out Tasty Treats for ice cream, dirty sodas and BBQ sandwiches

Lovely Visit

We met both the owner and manager and they were incredibly hospitable! Our pets (which we notified of in advance) were spoiled by everyone they met too! Thank you for a lovely weekend and a close proximity to our student! We look forward to our next visit!

Lovely place. Beautifully restored old building, quiet, and sparkling clean! Captures the old time vibe of the locale in the best way. Tom was a wonderful host.
