"Comfortable but rather tired! Plug in basin did'nt work; pull cord on bathroom mirror only a couple of inches of string left, windows only opened a few inches and badly needed painting, remote control for TV unreadable. Staff pleasant and helpful, meals good and public areas clean and airy. Room 205."

"Expensive room as we wanted a sun balcony - the sun area was in poor condition with weeds around the area and old seagull poo across the furniture. There is obviously plant machinery under the room for the spa so we were sat with that droaning and vibrating which isn’t exactly relaxing Staff in the bar and general food was excellent and enjoyed our evening in the main hotel. Next morning we wanted to have breakfast, check out early to give the room back and then spend some time in the Spa but the pool was full and we were left with a choice of waiting in the car until potentially some became available (already a queue of 3 groups waiting) or just leave and find something else to do. Sadly we chose the latter so our hotel/spa stay left us with no access to the spa facilities. Really poor and much better choice at other hotels in the SW which is a shame as we had been looking forward to visiting here "

"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out but we were gifted a small sample instead which was super nice. The restaurant is lovely, get to breakfast early to snag a window table. The food was excellent. Our room was nice and very clean and we had a good nights sleep. The walls were not as thin as many UK seaside hotels which was good. Overall a lovely stay, we would definitely come back and highly recommend "

"Breakfast is good. Jacuzzi & Sauna is nice although I can imagine that this can be too small and limited on a busy season. Gym equipments is just enough for someone who don't really want to skip a day in a gym."
