"Beautiful chateaux with friendly owner. The chateaux is huge with very few rooms. Given the oldest part was built in 1115, you can expect that it is as clean as a modern 5 star hotel. Nevertheless, the bed is comfortable and the property has character. I would highly recommend staying there for the experience. BTW, the breakfast is also excellent with fresh squeezed apple juice from the property."

" Nice spacicous rooms. One problem was the heat. No aircon. The outside temperature was particularly hot, 39°C. The room fan helped but other areas were extremely warm. Still like this hotel and will stay again in the future."

While traveling with my kids, we arrived exhausted and were welcomed by the property owners who immediately requested everyone to take off their shoes at the entrance of the hotel (they were scared our kids would dirty their carpeted floors) . They then said the room we reserved was all white and that the kids would have to be extremely careful. "We enjoyed our stay at Domaine Mélusine. I had three nights to visit nearby Puy du Fou. We were tempted to stay longer because it was so comfortable and felt like a home from home. We shared a 3 bed property for two couple and each couple had a bathroom. The property and grounds were clean and spacious. The kitchen had all supplies needed for basic cooking including a Nespresso machine. We would return for a longer stay. "

"Almost everything about the chateau met our expectations and above. The approach to the building itself is lovely and the accommodation was also wonderful - very original and well thought out. We dined at the brasserie one evening which was lovely. It was low key with mainly sharing boards but we like that. The breakfast was a buffet and a number of the offerings were empty or nearly empty on the first morning as we were shortly before 9am, which was a disappointment but we arrived early on the second morning and everything was available. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. The staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly. "
