We live just four miles away!

We rented this cabin just to be away from home and on the beach day and night enjoying the warmth inside and the delightful setting outside. It's a cabin... luxury not needed...luxury not wanted. Loved it!

So peaceful! Romantic waterside cabin

A great getaway place to relax in privacy, and watch the light change on the waters of Penn Cove. We loved the stunning views, big deck, and exploring the mussel shoals. Great espresso within walking distance at the neighboring Inn. We hope to be back soon and bring our kayaks.

A lovely mother/daughter getaway

The view was delightful as we watched the tidal flow, the otters and other wildlife from back deck. If cooking is not in the plan the kitchen is okay.

A lovely serene getaway

At this time of year it was very quiet, incredible view and pastoral setting , lovely big deck to sit and enjoy the ocean view, incredible view all around, lots of duck, herons out front, even 2 deer walked by. Very clean, friendly and helpful management , close to cute little Coupeville, Ebey’s Landing and Ebey’s State Park with its lovely hiking trails, beach walks , and more incredible views. We would like to come back for another visit for sure

Nice location, but pay attention to photos

Loved the deck on the water, the beds were fine and place charming with nice art. Cooking in the kitchen was a little challenging with a mish-mash of cookware (as if left over from rummage sale) but we did enjoy cooking our own shellfish and eating in the nice setting. Be cautious of the jetted tub without grab bars and a strange floor, not safe for the non-agile. Would stay again

Calmness at its best

There is nothing like waking up to a peaceful view. This cabin was exactly what I needed. There’s nothing fancy about it, but it was just right. The rooms were clean, the kitchen fully stocked and the view…absolutely stunning. Watch out for the bathtub in the master bedroom. It’s a little odd… Thank you for a great stay!

We had a very nice, relaxing 3 nights at this Cabin. The living room area had very comfortable chairs and a sofa. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We just enjoyed looking out at the water, watching the tides change. Only con was the bathrooms that were small and the wonderful jacuzzi tub was impossible to get into or out of. We surely would have liked to use it.

Wonderful PNW Escape!

We absolutely love this little gem of a place. Location is perfect, right on the water, and very affordable little getaway. The place is pretty private and is well-equipped with everything. We arrived to find the place very clean, warm and inviting. For anyone wondering about the mice issue mentioned in previous reviews, none seen or heard. Owners obviously took care of that so don’t let that deter you. Perfect views of Mt Baker and Penn Cove. The deck is amazing to stargaze or watch the marine wildlife during the day. Park was east and accessibility is great. Very thankful for reasonable prices to make a wonderful affordable getaway. It’s very quiet (we don’t count the jet noise as we love watching them fly!), and the jets only fly here and there. Responsive hosts and Vacasa was too.

Father's day getaway

Overall nice place to stay. Great location. With enough space for 2 adults 2 children. TVs wouldn't work during our stay. Attempted to contact owner, but only number we could locate was for Vacasa. Held for quite awhile, but decided to give up as needed to cook dinner. Advertisements also indicated there was a BBQ, but one was not available. We were disappointed as we had planned a Father's Dsy BBQ. Also attempted to contact owner through messaging during booking about late checkout as it was Father's day and we wanted to make a brunch prior to leaving. Attempted to follow up on it with no reply.

Dirty, unmaintained

We noticed the carpet was filthy, when we arrived. Also, the screen door to the deck had a tear in it at least two feet long, allowing insects into the house when the door was open. The deck had not been cleaned and was covered with dirt and sea shells. The table where the BBQ sat was dripping with grease. I informed the agent of the problems and never heard from them. After my rental, I received a message saying they had tried to contact me, but they were using my home phone. Worse experience I have had renting on Whidbey Island. They agent contacted me post rental and said they were correcting the problems I had pointed out.

The setting was lovely, the patio overlooking the water allowed for great views and relaxation. The cabin had everything needed for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend and hope I can return and stay longer.

Old Style beach cabin

Great location right on the beach and off the main highway between Coupville and Gig Harbor. Less than 10 minute drive to the historic Coupville water front. Cabin is old and rustic and good for a two person stay. Home can use some TLC due to the age, namely the second bathroom and new bedding/pillows. Basic amenities in the shower provided , but I would recommend you not cook. Bring your own ground coffee for the French press or filters for the hotel size 4 cup maker as there are none and only dishwashing powder for the machine. Water is hard and there is bad mineral scale over all sinks, showers and dishes so bring your own drinking water too. It was a comfortable stay overall, but bring extra fans if you stay in warm weather as there are very few windows to open.

We stayed here to coordinate a Wedding at Captain Whidbey Inn, and the location couldn’t have been closer which was great. Since I was coordinating wedding events all weekend, I didn't have much phone time and wasn’t able to reach out to the property owner/manager. Overall the house was clean & tidy, though there was some garbage on the patio. Additionally, we discovered that the toilet lever in the master bedroom was broken prior to us arriving. Other that those items, the stay was perfect. The house is definitely aging though and could definitely use some TLC.

Quaint waterfront cabin.

Probably the best possible location with a great deck. Nice patio chairs and tables. Plan to spend some time chillin, watching the world go buy on Penn cove. Cabin is “vintage,” very charming. Location allows for sunrise paddle boards and sunset beach strolls. Take ‘er easy!

Unexpected guests

Beautiful location, the house looked clean upon arrival until we noticed mice (very cute, but not what we wanted to spend the weekend with), and their droppings. We trapped it the first night and let it go outside but he came back in the second night and hid under the washer. This was a bit disturbing for one of us that was up there as there had a bad experience with a rat borne disease in the past.

Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.".
