"We recently stayed a week at this cabin, and everything was inviting and relaxing. The host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Rooms were nice and big and we especially liked that each bedroom also had a bathroom. The wood fireplace was cozy for a couple of cooler rainy days we had and the host had wood available onsite. The 3 outside decks were amazing to enjoy basking in the sun and the property has kayaks and a canoe onsite as well which was a huge plus to enjoy the lake. We fully enjoyed the cabin for our week and are missing sitting on the deck, looking up at the stars and listening to the peepers at night!"

"Room was fine, bathroom was nice. Only there one night on a 40 dgree rainy day, so no amenities used per say. The 1st assigned room had a beeping smoke detector, so we needed to change room. Booked a "Riverview" room...nice enough, but the river is really a creek and there is a road on the other side, so there was still some traffic noise. Breakfast was good."

"The staff was polite and helpful. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The desk clerk had a bit of trouble finding my reservation at first, but eventually he found it. He informed me of all the amenities and thanked me for my booking. The room was adequate, although not as clean as I would have preferred. The TV remote was covered in dried-on food, and there were stains on the rug and walls near the window. There was also no handsoap in the bathroom, so we opted to just use the shower gel that was provided in order to wash hands. House keeping doesn't put fresh towels/ washcloths in daily, you must request this. The fridge in the room was very cold, this was great for keeping our drinks refreshingly chilled. The room was very quiet and the view of Cannon Mountain was lovely. There were plenty of TV channels, so we had no trouble finding something to watch. The breakfast was a bit Spartan, but adequate. The coffee was pretty good as far as hotel coffee goes. All in all, it was an adequate place to stay on a last minute booking."
