"House was good with enclosed garden for the dog. The main down side was that there was only one restaurant within walking distance so had to cook in a lot more than expected. Overall a pleasant experience."

"We had a most interesting holiday at 1 boieldieu in Barneville Carteret. The house was just perfect with all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. It was lovely being only a few steps away from the beach. Richard and Patricia were so helpful and we could leave our bike under cover in their shed This is a beautiful area with lots of quiet roads to cycle and the ride to Portbail was delightful on quiet smooth roads . There are so many places to visit nearby including the port of Carteret. We visited the Cite de la Mer in Cherbourg which has a superb Nuclear Submarine to explore, a very creative Aquarium and a display of the Titanic and its history. The D Day sites at St Mere Eglise and near Carantan are just superb and museum at Quineville show how difficult life was under occupation. Thanks again to Patricia and Richard for letting us stay in your lovely cosy house"
