GREAT STAFF TERRIBLE FOOD
Super friendly staff - couldn’t have been any nicer. The rooms are clean and comfortable and exactly what you would expect from a chain hotel. The only thing that lets it down - and it lets it down BADLY to the extend we wouldn’t stay here again is that the food is appalling. You have no choice in this area but to eat at the hotel and sadly it is dire.

Handy location, otherwise avoid
Handy location just off the main Toll Road, staff were helpful but this is a very very tired Hotel with a dreadful smell in the corridors !

Just 10 mins of the autoroute with outside parking ideal if you have a roof box or skis rack. The rooms are pretty decent and the staff very friendly. The food is disappointing. Dinner was average but there is a nice bar area.

The Buffet dinner is expensive and quite chaotic early in the evening, the food is average. Breakfast is included and the family room has bunk beds. Overall good service and room.

This is a tired hotel. The room was nice enough but the air conditioning was barely there resulting in an uncomfortable night. Worst for me was dining. Buffet only on the friday i stayed there, no option for a la carte or room service just a pitiful buffet for 25eur, small selection including gratin de moules (split sauce, looked awful), chicken nuggets, and some other hot food gone cold. Small red wine for 8eur per glass. Not good and i wont return. I guess busi ess is good though, it was busy.

A good hotel for a family stopover. This time on the way to skiing in the Alps. A good restaurant for dinner (book ahead as it gets busy) and a nice buffet breakfast. We’ve been before and are likely to stay again.

OK but go early or late to breakfast
Room was OK, shower underwhelming. Corridor was noisy. Breakfast was carnage - too many people trying to make their own breakfasts. All the nice features were a waste of time as the queues were too long. No cooked breakfast on offer.

Lovely hotel, nice staff, great breakfast,$$$ beer
Very nice hotel for a stop over on the way home from the alps, not a great location (an industrial estate) but easy to access from the autoroute, the facilities are nice, kid games, a free plushie for the kids, great breakfast, My only complaint you be 10e for half a litre of beer, seemed a little excessive!

I booked the room half board and the hotel tried to charged me extra for diner and breakfast. However; after all stress they told me that ok and still we been charged extra for the dinner. I have called Expedia costumer center and they told me that they will call the hotel and they did NOT.

Nice interior make over. It’s spacious but basic in the rooms as most furniture has been removed / minimalised. At arrival it was confusing as no one was there at reception. Normally not an issue, however in the new design you cannot make out where the reception is ( it’s an unmarked wooden hub ). Therefore you can find yourself wondering through the hotel looking for reception.

Overnight family stay on way to south of France
Clean and trying to be as Covid safe as possible. Good food in the restaurant for dinner. A good selection for breakfast. Plenty of free parking. The second time we have stayed on the way to the south of France. We’ll stay here again.

Bathroom terrible - see photos
The hotel looks nice at the Reception area but when entering the room the tiny toilet is clautrophobic and the shower area has not been cleaned for long time. This place should not be considered 4* at all as per my photos attached. The bed is extremely close to the wall for you to walk to your bed to sleep you almost fall it is so tight! I would not recommend it at all unless owners would improve the level of cleaningless and space. Not worth the price !

Dijon stopover.
Modern hotel, ideal to break our journey to the south coast. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant, and the extensive breakfast selection. Rooms were clean and tidy. We had a double bed plus a twin sofa bed in each room. Reception staff were friendly. It has its own pool and car park. We would stay there again.

Not a great experience
Hotel itself was good and clean but service was shocking. On arrival we thought to have happy hour cocktails from the bar, orederd a couple of drinks which they didn't have so chose another 2 from the happy hour menu. It was put on the room and want given a choice to pay at the bar so we assumed we have got happy hour. Went to the restaurant straightaway to eat. Food was good but my husband's meal was definitely different from what it said in the menu however we assumed it could be due to the translation so didn't bother asking the staff. Again the bill was added to the room without an option to pay on spot even though when we checked in we were told to pay as you go. Anyway not a big deal so we stayed and next morning at the checkout was handed a big bill on questioning we were told we had 2 cocktails and 4 beers when we only have 2 drinks in total. After a lot of faffig about and waiting for over 30 mins was refunded 8 euros which again wasn't correct but by that point I ran out of patience and thought my time is more money than the money I'm going to fight for. No apologies received, nothing.. so ended up paying over the top price for 2 very generic drinks and wasted roughly 30 mins to get some refund back which pretty much was nothing...I rather wouldn't have even bothered about that. Not going to stay in this hotel again..very badly run.

Not worth the money in my opinion
bed wasn't really comfortable and the bathroom was dirty. The lobby and main area of the hotel is beautiful. In my opinion it is overpriced for what was offered.

Perfect for a stopover.
A very comfortable hotel, perfect for a family stopover, with secure parking. Swimming pool, table tennis, games area are great. Restaurant food is good, but not a great selection of “lighter” food. Would definitely stay again.

A very nice surprise
This hotel is quite recently refurbished and redecorated in a contemporary style. It's comfortable, clean and ideally placed in central France to be used as an ideal stopover if travelling from the Channel ports to the Riviera or vice versa. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again. Staff are well trained, efficient and polite. Overall a very pleasant experience and the place had the feel of a privately owned boutique hotel rather than a chain hotel.

Nice room and bar, terrible pool
The room was really nice, lovely big tv and the beds were comfy... the bar area was also modern and had a big tv with the football on, although the gas went off for the lager and the barman couldn’t explain why. Also it was €10 a pint and they were only 50cl!! Also the pool looked nothing like the photos, it was really shallow with green murky water, freezing cold and full of leaves... a bit disappointing for the kids who were looking forward to having a dip after our very long drive.

Dijon pit-stop
Excellent value for money on a pit-stop to the south of France. Much better than we expected with secure parking and a swimming pool for the kids. Absolute bargain if you’re looking for a hold-over but is on the edge of a business park so not a beautiful setting. Are some vineyards in the distance for a nice run if that’s your thing.

Novotel Dijon Route des Grands Crus is a great hotel. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything. The restaurant serves fantastich breakfast. What's on the menu is very tasty yet in portions pretty meagre and expensive for what you get. €19 for a bœuf bourguignon that litterly exists of the bœuf bourguignon with some mashed potatoes (without any salad or sides) doesn't seem right to me. The childrens dish is tasty though and is almost the same in size. The lobby has gotten an interior update from the look of things. The rooms kind of lack this same fresh style and look a little outdated in comparison.

The hotel was full of families of all nationalities travelling through France and using it as a stopover. Absolutely perfect!
