Decent hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet area, not many late night eating choices, but ok if you walk around. Local place opposite the hospital is good.

Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Kettle in room so could have tea and coffee in room - not always the case in Spanish hotels.

Nice view from the window, good staff. Restaurant there and many cafes near by. An easy walk to the Sea and to the old town along Tarragona's Ramblas.

Tarragona Hotel
Basic hotel about 45 minutes walk from the historic centre. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable. Good Wifi access. Breakfast nothing fancy and not a particularly great choice but adequate. Couple of local bars nearby and two supermarkets. Easy access to the trail to Ponte Del Diablo.

Lovely - quick stop having been to Ferrari land. Really lovely hotel, clean and spacious room. Good breakfast and lovely cafe to eat and drink in.

Very plain and dull. Somehow 7 years ago when we stayed here it appeared a little more lively. It is probably ideal for business travelers but not necessarily for a relaxing vacation. It is just OK

Not that pet friendly!
This is a pet friendly hotel and that is why we chose it. They charge an extra €15 for that but we had to sign a form saying we would not leave him alone in room - not a problem but for breakfast our little dog not allowed in cafeteria so we had to eat outside next to busy roundabout in February. It was cold. Couldn't leave dog in car as parking in underground car park. This extra cost €11.50 too. No other option as parking in street all full. So expensive one night stay. Charged us an extra €27 so beware. No good restaurants near either only coffee bars.

During this time of the year the hotel still keeps the HVAC system in heating mode or Off.The temperature inside the room became uncomfortable and their suggestion is to open the windows which is relatively unsafe(if your room is I the lower floor). They better change an extra charge and let the guests to use the AC if that’s what they want. The rooms don’t have a iron table and when I needed to use the iron I had to use the bed as an iron table which is very unsafe. This is very easy to fix and will be of much help for business travelers

Nice regular hotel
Was staying there as a transit night on our journey to south of spain. Have to say was a proper hotel, with a lovely location and plenty of bars and restaurants around. A real pleasant surprise.

Nice hotel in good position. Problem was one bed in one of the rooms had sheets that could not have been changed and were dirty with blood stains. Not noticed until late at night and so 2 adults slept in one single bed. This bed also rocked from corner to corner. No discount offered and should have had this room FOC

Basic hotel, I was expecting more based on pictures and other people's comments. The bed was a tad uncomfortable. The furniture in the room was a bit tatty and mismatched. There was no working air conditioning and the shower didn't work well. Attention to detail with cleaning could have been better - mouldnin the shower and inside the sofa/chair was really dirty.

Our friends, David and Sheila, booked your hotel due to its close proximity to the Joan XXIII hospital as my husband had heart issues while we were on holiday in Salou and we wanted to stay close by. Your staff with special mention to Raphael, were empathetic, knowledgable, and very professional. In a time when kindness is often taken for granted, we hope that you will, with whatever means you see fit, acknowledge these exemplary staff members.

Hotel is quite new & in a smart new part of the city. A bit far to walk to the historic centre, but buses easily available nearby (ask the hotel staff). My bed was a bit hard!

Delightful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and attractive. Great value! The staff at the reception desk made us feel welcome and helped us with sightseeing. Overall wonderful experience.

It was a very quick stop, only for sleeping during a long car trip. The price was very reasonable. The hotel and room were really comfortable and clean. And what the best in Spain: there is a parking place available.

Pleasant hotel at affordable price. Front-desk helpful. Restaurants, bakery, gelata store nearby. Within walking distance (~20 minutes) of Balcony of Mediterranean and the seafront but very pleasant walk down the Rambla Nova. If you'r here to see the Roman ruins plan on 2 days.

Not central but good value
I stayed at SB Express for a week while at a conference at the University. It was very comfortable and, while not central, was a short walk to the old town and moderate walk to the beach. The inhouse restaurant did not have a great variety, wasn't cheap and kept limited hours so I found I had to go into central Tarragona for meals. There was, however, a supermarket quite close so you can eat cheaply by buying some supplies from there.
