"Chef for the bar restaurant downstairs is amazing. Every dish I've had was prepared with love . This was my third time staying and the staff at the hotel are always kind and friendly.great bed , soft but firm at the same time . Amazing pillows . Thanks as always for a great stay! "As a quick staycation, this was a great hotel for the value. You could tell that the few staff were working double duty to ensure a great experience and pulled that off. The room was clean and spacious. While generally quiet, the rooms above were rather loud. Breakfast had a good variety with hot options like a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bagels and toast. Along with yogurt, fruit, muffins, and cereal, plus assorted beverages. I think the only real complaint was that the pool water was quite chilly. We managed to get in, but at least 5 degrees warmer would help immensely. "

"We traveled for our daughter's graduation from Cornell. The winter ceremony was literally across the street. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The view of the tower and campus from our window was beautiful. However, the brunch buffet at Taverna Banfi was just okay, and the service could have been better. "
