Ambiance and service overcome inconvenience

Lovely, historic building. Views from our room were bucolic and wonderful. The grounds were peaceful, pretty, and well maintained. On site restaurant fabulous! Beds, not so comfortable. Chose this hotel for all of the above and AC. The AC did not work which made sleeping in July a challenge for these Americans used to that amenity. Even though, I would recommend this hotel for the charm, staff, location, and restaurant.

A beautiful very old castle. Rooms a little tired and could do with a little bit of TLC. But would not put us off recommending this hotel. Dinner was very tasty (although not the cheapest). Hotel staff are helpful. The historical pictures around the hotel are so interesting. Definitely worth a visit.

Ottimo per week end di relax

Luogo incantevole per il relax. Camera molto spaziosa arredata in modo particolare consone al castello. I bagni un po’ datati. I letti matrimoniali sono 2 materassi singoli uniti per cui, a noi si sono divisi un po’…Bel cortile interno. SPA piccola per 4 persone ma, anche se l’ora e mezza è stata piacevole, l’ho trovata poco funzionale: doccia nel piano superiore rispetto la sauna, solo 2 sdrai, getti d’acqua nell’idromassaggio di durata cortissima.. Buona colazione e personale gentile.

Bella la piscina, bellissimo il castello e la location. Molto caratteristica e storica. Un po da migliorare la pulizia, specialmente del bagno (presenza di calcare ovunque e gocce di acqua sullo specchio, frigo e freezer non pulitissimo). Nonostante ciò, siamo stati benissimo comunque, staff gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Reception raggiungibile solo con le scale, per gli appartamenti c'è per fortuna un'ascensore.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise zwischen Piacenza und Cremona. Hotel macht zunächst (alter Vierkanthof mit tollem Garten) einen super Eindruck, wenn man dann aber genauer hinschaut ist es halt ein altes Gemäuer und insbesondere im Bad mit der ein oder anderen „Baustelle“. Wir hattennein Superiorzimmer mit Jakuzzi, allerdings funktionierte dieser nicht. Für den Preis von Expedia war es in Ordnung, für den Normalpreis wäre es für uns viel zu teuer gewesen.

Vackert äldre hotell med fantastisk karaktär. Väldigt fin omgivning och trädgård med pool. Trevlig restaurang. Enda minuset var frukosten som inte serverade matbröd utan endast söta bakverk/bröd. Passande hotell om man reser med hund.

Il breve soggiorno è stato piacevole, da segnalare il baccano fatto a tarda ora per una cerimonia, e con ulteriori festeggiamenti continuati nella notte nelle camere soprastanti, inoltre abbiamo chiesto di cambiare le pile del telecomando per la tendina della finestra vasista per avere più luce all’interno, ma questa richiesta non è stata risolta. Molto variegata e buona la scelta per la colazione.

Castel sehr schön. An der Haupstrasse gelegn , mein Zimmer war sehr nahe. Würde nächstes Mal ein Zimmer weiter hinten wollen. Abendessen im Restaurant sehr gut mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Buffet bei Morgenessen etwas kurze Auswahl

Great hotel and lovel stay.

This was a very convenient spot to reach from Milan Central station whether by metro, tram or taxi. The staff were very friendly and willingly provided assistance with directions and public transport suggestions. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay again. Itwas terrific value for money.
