Luxury, beachfront property with beautiful ocean views!

This is a beachfront property and is seven miles away from Port Aransas, so you can step out onto a quiet beach and relax with the sea breeze. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views right from your living room or from your kitchen as you cook your favorite meal! If you step out onto the balcony, you will see not only the amazing ocean views, but all three of the resort style pools and hot tub.

The main pool is heated to 78 degrees for the cooler months and there is a heated jacuzzi as well. One of the pools is a large kiddie pool that is 2.5 feet deep…perfect for your little ones! There is a boardwalk that takes you straight to the beach. When you are ready to head back to the condo to put your feet into the pool, or BBQ on one of the property grills, you can rinse off at one of the two washing stations.

Our condo has a luxurious king bed in the bedroom with bedding that will assure you a great night's rest. We just renovated and added a walk-in shower that will make you feel like you are at a spa! We also added new beautiful Quartz countertops to the sink and vanity. There are two twin bunk beds hidden into the wall. These are perfect for your kiddies but also comfortably sleep teens (Up to about 5'7' tall). We have a sleeper sofa with a plush mattress that will also assure a great night's sleep. Please note, this condo is perfect for a family with small kids as there is only one bath located in the master bedroom.

We also just renovated our kitchen to add new Quartz countertops and a beautiful backsplash! The kitchen is perfectly equipped for all of your kitchen needs. We love to cook, so having all of the kitchen essentials is a must! We have high grade Calphalon cookware that will be the first ingredient to your tasty meals.

Our condo is family-friendly with games, plastic dish wear, a baby seat for dining and even a pack n play! Your children will love sleeping in the bunk beds, playing on the beach, and swimming in the children's pool.

Our condo is in a perfect location on the beach, where it is only 7 miles from Port Aransas and 6 miles to Padre Island. There are so many things to do in both Port Aransas and Corpus Christi and our location is perfect!

You can fish the surf, piers or the jetties and you can take your fresh catch to a local restaurant where they will cook and prepare it as you desire. You can take a deep sea fishing trip, visit the Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington in Corpus, or have a Park Ranger lead you on a beach walk. Don't forget you can also kayak to the 1857 Lydia Ann Lighthouse - the only Texas lighthouse with live-in caretakers!

Great Place to Relax

We had great stay with our family of five (kids 10-15). The condo is well equipped and comfortably decorated without a bunch of breakable knick-knacks to stress about breaking. Thanks again for hosting us. This was our third time staying here, and we plan to come back.

Beautiful Resort

We enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved how it has easy access to the beach. Also, the pools are all play pools and that was really convenient for my 2 year old. We loved this resort and will definitely be back!

Convenient and comfortable

Loved that this was right on the beach. The location between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas was convenient. The condo was perfect for the 2 of us.

Great relaxing spot

The condo was great for our family (couple and 2 kids ages 9, 11). The pool area was great and has some lawn games like volleyball and horseshoes that were perfect for spending time outside. It’s a bit of a drive “into town” for eating out, but not terrible and about 10 min in either direction is good options for dining or other activities. It was pretty quiet the week we were there and was a nice spot to explore Port A and Corpus Christie from.

nice stay

I requested early check in, and she was very accommodating! We arrived about 1:30 pm. Our room wasn't quite ready yet, but we were able to get our pool code and change in the lobby bathroom while we waited. I did have trouble with AT&T my entire stay, but the complex does have wifi throughout. We got into the condo about 3pm, which worked well for us! The condo was as pictured. I do have some items that should be read as suggestions for minor improvements, or FYIs for future renters. 1) With the sleeper couch and bunk beds in the living room, blackout curtains across the whole window would have been great. The bunk bed area does have shutter style doors, but we didn't close them fully since my kids are younger. We ended up having the 2YO sleep in the bedroom with us, to ensure she didn't wake with the sunrise. 2) blackout curtains in the bedroom. There are window shutters, but since the bedroom backs up to the main walkway and parking lot, the night security lights really lit up the room. We had some travel curtains with suction cups we used. Just FYI if you are a picky sleeper like myself 3) there was mention of high grade calphalon cookware, however the cookware we experienced was not great. Most were scratched or rusty, and I would have liked a plain baking sheet. Minerva was responsive to my VRBO messages and it was a nice trip!

Relaxing!!

We had a great stay. Everything was just like we expected. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We do wish that there were a few 8x11 pans or baking sheets for the oven. We enjoyed the new updates in the kitchen and bathroom. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Fantastic location. The Mayan Princess is a boardwalk away from the beach. Beautiful view from the condo with the sound of the wave. The unit is as described. Kitchen is well equipped. Lots of beach toys.Comfortable bed. We would come back!!!

Unfortunate weather

On average 26 degrees below the normal...it was so very cold during our stay, but we made the most of it. Even the locals were shocked (and the sea turtles being rescued). The Mayan Princess is looking worse for the wear...needs some TLC. Our unit the same. Location is excellent. Interesting to watch the cars on the beach and the nice set-ups for those who like to fish.

Beautiful condo!

The host was exceptional! She thought of all the little details to make our stay convenient. The only downfall is the beach was not 100 percent handicap accessible, so if you have limited mobility there are stairs. This is nothing that the host had to do with, just for others looking for an accessible beach access. Otherwise the entire experience was amazing!

New Years Vacation

The check in & out process was very easy & smooth. We were disappointed with the condo compared to the pictures. The paint needs freshened up, light bulbs out, mold around the tub & large step was unsafe to enter, garbage can was dirty, washing machine was not operating correctly (we had to hit the breaker to get it to work), could not find instructions for tv & a couple of the remotes were dead, door was broke to the toilet room & fan did not work, icemaker was broke, no dish cloth to wash dishes, never had to start laundry before checkout in any other establishment. Just providing honest feedback in hopes it will be a more seamless experience for guests in the future.

Great location and condo but….

The pools were gorgeous and everything’s was so clean. The listing makes it clear that that the shower/tub is in the master, which is fine if your kids are young. The entire location, you have to be pretty agile. You must step down into a tub to take a shower, which is not an easy step, I wouldn’t want my 75-year-old mother to do it. Also, to get down to the beach, there is a huge step and is one of the only properties along the entire beach that did not have a ramp entrance. My husband and are are 47 & 41 respectively, are in good shape and it was hard to get the beach wagon, etc down there. All in all, I would definitely stay there again though 😃.

Relaxing, quiet, family time

My family enjoyed our seven day stay at the Mayan Princess very much. The three pools (4 feet, 3ft, and kiddy 2ft) were large enough that it never felt busy and the complex's employees were extremely quick to answer questions we might have about our stay, recommendations or help with beach activities. Our accommodations were perfect for a family of 6. enough space for pre-teens with a great kitchen for yummy meals to be prepared. We loved that our host provided us with supplies for outings, like sand castle tools and an ice chest. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy with your family and friends. Beautiful condo, with a modern kitchen and extremely comfy beds. ( I need the name of the memory foam in the master bedroom!) Quiet enough to relax but also close to activities so you have so much to do.

Great sun rises and nice location

The condo was great for the two of us and had everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive to our questions and gave excellent recommendations of restaurants and attractions to visit. The bed was very comfortable.
