I had a wonderful stay at avid Hotel Corpus Christi–Portland. The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and well maintained. My room was comfortable, quiet, and the bed made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated in the Texas heat. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from check-in through check-out. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. I also appreciated the convenient location—it was close to restaurants and only a short drive from Corpus Christi. I was in town for new-hire onboarding at CHRISTUS Health, and this hotel was the perfect place to stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Corpus Christi/Portland area.

They have a pretty nice coffee bar set up available all day and night. I didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good. Didn't interact with staff other than check in but they were helpful. The bed was pretty decent and had 4 pillows!! The room was extremely humid maybe a dehumidifier would help. The floors in the room felt a little slippery. Overall it wasn't bad just needs a few updates.

Beds were so comfy, breakfast had many options and the rooms were quiet. I didn't hear anyone in the halls or above me. Once in the restroom I heard the person directly next to me talking a little.
