"Close to the beach access, You can see then ocean from the third floor balcony. Spacious house, 3 floors to space yourself out as needed. Full stocked kitchen, provides basics for you-linen, soap, coffee. Community pool on site and very nice. Hosts were terrific- very responsive and helpful!! Terrific trip!!"

"Property needs lots of updates, screen, blinds, need curtain on ground floor for privacy, water too hot uncontrollable hard to take shower, broken appliances not usable, not equipped in the kitchen. Very misleading with the place in the family/leaving area not enough space for 10 people this house only good for 6 people. We enjoyed the hot tub but concerning when you access it through the bedroom of two guests very not well thought. All in all we had good time because of the people I’m with nothing to do with the property."

"We had an excellent stay at the Halfshell! The home is refreshingly decorated in a simple, comfortable beach theme. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need to create our meals. The washer and dryer we nice for freshening up during the week. The outside grill allowed us to fix some tasty fresh swordfish steaks we picked up at the nearby produce and fish shop! The screened porch and multiple decks were lovely outside places to gather or find solitude. Beach chairs and umbrella were useful for our beach days. The beach was beautiful and there is a lifeguard right where we entered. We loved our stay!"

"The house was perfect for a beach week. Plenty of space, not fancy but clean, decor was cute, kitchen fully stocked, pool cleaned regularly, and stuff generally worked. Parents had their own bedroom and private bath on top floor. For the price it was terrific. Just note it is a walk to the beach, not right next to it. We rented bikes which were a huge hit. They give you a coupon which is nice - all dropped and picked up from house. The poker table got much use in particular! We brought lots of beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc since they provide very little. Plenty of living room spaces to spread out. Close to grocery. We loved it."

"The house was amazing!! Beautifully formed and very comfortable. However, Tim needs to take up issue with OBB. When we arrived we could not get in. The coded lock box wouldn’t work and Hannah at OBB kept telling me it was “user error”. It was determined their maintenance man Marcus (who was AMAZING, polite, professional and a great representative of OBB) the code box was defective and he replaced it. Once inside it was determined that neither dishwasher worked and were loaded with dirty dishes and one disposal was jammed. How was this not noticed by the OBB cleaning crew. The cleaning crew didn’t leave enough towels either, several light switches didn’t work and the air filters on the AC unit were visibly dirty and needed to be changed … which when we brought it to Marcus’ attention he did and appreciated us noticing. Loved the house but OBB dropped the ball. Tim… you need to have a conversation with OBB about their care and upkeep on your house. It’s gorgeous and should be properly maintained. "
