Spacious house
The house was very spacious. Overall, the house itself was fine, a bit outdated and needs a little bit of TLC with minors things around the house. But overall we really did not have an issue with the house itself.
We did however have an issue with what we told by the rental company regarding location, distance to beach and the pool.
We were told that the pool / hot tub would be open and heated starting at the end of March. When we arrived, neither the hot tub or pool had even been opened or cleaned for the season. We called the property and they were very responsive and did someone the next day to clean, fill and vacuum it, but was told by the pool guy that it was NOT heated.
Also, there was absolutely NO basic household supplies that came with the house, which was very irritating. No trash bags or even hand soap. Very limited toilet paper supplies. We had to go buy all of that extra stuff for our stay, which would have been nice to know prior to our stay.
And lastly, the house was not very clean upon our arrival. The beds were cleaned and made, but it was obvious that the floors had not been swept or mopped in a while. It’s was by no means filthy, but more like a house that had been sitting vacant all winter and not one had gone in to do a good once over before opening it up.
Neighborhood was very nice and quiet residential area and we were a 5 min walk to the beach. The town of Corolla has great beach access.
