Comfy and cheap, tea and coffee provided, shared kitchen downstairs if you need it. Perfect location, nothing overly luxurious but would more than happily stay again
The building is older but the place has been updated. It was a very nice kitchen and well stocked for preparing your own meals. 100m from the train station which was handy.
Room was spotlessly clean, as was bathroom. Kitchen was not as clean and not clearly identifiable which tea/coffee/milk was for guests. Bed very comfortable. Great for short stay.
It was good prepare for noisy roomies but it was good for short term stay and definitely same day because they perfectly accommodating

You get what you pay for. It is clean, yes, but there is visible signs of previous water damage on the bed's base (dark lines about 25mm from the bottom), the floor is uneven and at a slightly offsetting angle, paint is peeling up from several walls in the entrance foyer. The staff was helpful but basically told us "Here's the key, you're on your own". The kitchen is a common area where it appears effort was made to make it better, but, again, the water damage was evident. I don't know if it was a recent mishap, but it was definitely not the best impression, and the worst of the accommodations on our trip. Also, dodgy meetings in the streets in front of the property, being followed by people when walking at dusk, and overall low quality of maintenance in nearby restaurants really make you feel unsafe.
There is nothing good to say about this property! If you have a physical disability avoid it at all cost. There is no lift. The stairs are uneven as well as the floors itself.
I doubt that many would view this place as a hotel, more of a HMO. People clearly living here rather than as a hotel.
We had room 11, which was right by the front door, which opened until around 2am, and then again from 6am. Right next to the DIY dining room. People cooking at 10pm and the smell coming into our room.
The bathroom smell was hideous, and had very clearly had a damp issue. Tiles coming up from the floor, rubbish in the corners, shower door hanging off.
The whole place was full of dust, and dirty with hairs. Stains on walls, like poo, and foot and handprints. Only one plug socket in the room and it was dangerous and hanging off the wall. Wifi didn't work.
Unfortunately because we arrived so late we didnt have any luck finding somewhere else to stay.
The bunk beds were creaky, and there were a couple of screws on the floor beneath it.
The bedding didn't fit the beds correctly and kept coming off. We've all been itching.
Hot damp sweaty room, couldn't open the window due to location, and no fan provided.
Didn't use the kitchen as the sink was full of pots and pans, fridge full of food shopping.
Just felt depressing and unsafe, and definitely would not recommend to anyone.
No not adequate, very noisy during the night. People banging on front door during the night until someone answered the door. Room very very small. No hot water in shower both mornings. Attempt to take money out of my account 3 times even though it said pay at property. Even when i did pay at property as it said on expedia , 2 further attempts were make to take money again?????? Very unsatisfactory.

Below than average
No remote for TV, shared bathroom spaces were super small and cramped. Check out process not clear. The whole house was skewed and at an angle. No mirror in room. Downstairs kitchen was really poor condition, not pictured in listing photos. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when check in process wasn’t too clear. Location was central, but it made the rooms very loud when the windows were open. No fans or air conditioning
I booked this stay last minute due to an urgent situation and when arriving at the property, the manager informed me the stay wasn’t paid for and I should pay for the stay again. I showed them the app and email confirmation as well as my card transactions showing the stay has been paid.
The following morning, the same manager called me and advised if I was not providing card details over the phone to pay for the stay they would remove our belongings from the room and we couldn’t stay at the property anymore (early on a Sunday morning). I told them if the payment wasn’t showing up on their side, it was their issue to resolve and they should contact the platform if needed. The manager was the rudest person I’ve ever talked to, barely speaking English and agressive over the phone and in person.
I was in contact with Hotels.com customer service and they resolved this very efficiently in only a few minutes and the manager called me to advise they would let us stay for the last night as booked and paid.
They didn’t present any excuses for their behaviour when they could have simply contacted the platform and this would have been sorted in a few minutes, but they preferred shouting and being agressive with a customer. This manager needs to learn how to behave with customers as this will definitely impact their business in the long term. I think they’re trying to scam customers by making them pay multiple times for the same stay so would advise anyone to stay away from this business.
