It was good value and very convenient to have the restaurant right by the hotel (with discounts for people staying). Although the local taxis were very overpriced so I would definitely factor that in to your stay as it became the top expense. But I would definitely recommend!!

Nice spot, would stay again
Nice hotel. Front desk lady is really nice and helpful. The rooms are good with comfy beds and good aircon. The bothrooms are nice but not very well laid out with nowhere to put toiletries and the shower water goes everywhere. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast but overall, would be happy to stay again. Good location near to Gouvia Marina which is about a 15-20min walk or short taxi and also near to some good bars, restaurants and shops.

A central quiet location, welcoming staff, excellent bar & restaurant. Clean & comfortable room / bath room. Close to other bar / restaurant outlets within 10 minutes walk. For a 3 Star hotel, a quality package offered at a competitive price. Provision for disabled access and public parking available.

Definitely recommended...
Stayed here during the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff made everything as safe as possible- nothing was an issue.. excellent service and helpful at all times. Will definitely be returning in the near future...

Love this hotel
This hotel was brilliant a great couples stay attention to detail by all staff is spot on, the beach is typically Greek island stony but is only 50m from the excellent beach taverna which serves a great range of beers and wines and delicious food the mixed grill was stunning. The look of the hotel is clean and the gardens are beautifully maintained with vibrant colours and stunning smells, We will be back

Very attractive hotel, shame about our room.
A nice hotel and inexpensive, so we didn't expect luxury. Our room was basic, which was fine, but there were only 2 hangers in the wardrobe and most of our clothes had to hang on a chair. The room was very noisy, too. All night pipes gurgled, next-door's central heating throbbed, and our fridge buzzed. There was a flashing light, too, from the air-con, though we did not use it. We only ate 3 times in the restaurant as we found the food poor value. Other places were better and the ones in Corfu Town were excellent., but no more expensive. Breakfast was simple but adequate. I really enjoyed having yoghurt with honey every morning! Apart from problems with the room our holiday was enjoyable. I wouldn't go in high summer again as it was so very hot, but this year we couldn't go earlier.

Nice hotel close to the beach
The hotel iscin a great location...close to the beach and restaurant and bus stops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole hotel had a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time in Corfu and at Gouvia. The only downside to my stay was that I was in a ground floor room (115) and was opposite the reception/restaurant area and on the main walkway to the beach. This mean that I had little privacy as people could see straight in to my room and so I often had to keep the curtains closed and therefore shut out the sun. It was also very noisy at night being on that room as the restaurant music was loud and part of the kitchen was to the other side of my room so the noise of pots and pans and kitchen staff shouting went on until around midnight. This was the only negative thing about my stay though.

The beach and hotel garden are very nice and pleasant. The room itself is very basic: hard bed and pillow, no vent in bathroom, no shampoo,... The team is very nice and I do recommend for those that suffice with basic room conditions.

You get what you pay for . . .
The hotel was very hard to find. The receptionist was not very friendly when we check in. We were charged an extra 5 euros per day for air conditioning. We never had that happen in a hotel before. The beds were hard. The door had been damaged and there was missing wood at the bottom. This or the lack of dusting made the floors dusty everday. Clean towels ever three days. The TV was a small old CRT type. Glad we had a car, beach water was not very clean. Breakfast was ok. No room safe.

Great family hotel. don't expect 5 star at the price of 3 star. but its clean, neat, family run , personal attention and touristy. shower area is small and messy but seriously spend the time on the beach, nice place to drink and chill at the nearby Molfetta beach rsort dining rea. they have a performance and good food and greata mbience. carry your own mosquito spray or buy one for 5 euros next door!! worth the money

Good value hotel with rustic charm
We stayed for 7 days at the Iliada and had a great holiday. The hotel facilities are basic but everything (fridge, air con, showers) worked. The breakfast was ok (cereals, bread, ham, cheese, cake, coffee, tea, juices etc) and there is an open bar which was friendly and comfortable. We only did B&B. There are loads of places to eat and drink in Gouvia so we were glad we had not done full board. The Iliada hotel is next to the grander (and undoubtedly more expensive) Molfetta, which has a big restaurant bar at the front and nightly entertainment which is open to all - I am sure we were not the only Iliada guests to benefit from this. Upon arrival we were given the keys to our room but found twin beds (i had specifically requested a double in a note to the hotel on this site and the room had been advertised as a double). I was told that the hotel only had four double rooms and that I could push the beds together - I persisted, and they agreed to move us to a double room the following day once one had become free. We found the staff very friendly but thought that they could have perhaps been a bit more helpful upon arrival. All in all, a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, particularly due to its excellent proximity to the beach. Also, if you stay here, you should definitely do the Magdalena 'BBQ' boat trip - it is excellent, and unbelievably good value.

We didn't want to leave! Ever!
The hotel was in a perfect location. In fact, during our two day vacation we never had a reason to leave the surrounding area. We only wish we could have stayed more time. The beach across from the hotel was stunning and not crowded at all. The pebble beach and the blue water was perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff was wonderful and friendly. And the restaurants and bars in the area, including that of the hotel's, were wonderful!

Quite basic
This hotel is a quite basic beach hotel. It does not have it's own swimming pool, instead they encourage you to use that of another hotel that allows in the public, the room is very basic and small, and the Wifi works but gets maxed out when many people try to log on. If you are looking for a budget place to stay you could consider this.

Iliada Hotel Corfu
A very friendly hotel with lots of atmosphere close to beach . Very clean and comfortable. There was a taxi strike on when we arrived and we had difficulty in finding transport from the Ferry Terminal to the hotel . A shuttle bus would be handy for transfers to the airport and ferries. Hotel management were very obliging and provided a private transport service for us to the airport.Close to shopping and tour bookings, we would recommend this hotel as value for money.

Es war ein wunderschöner Kurzurlaub und das Hotel war absolut perfekt dafür. Wir hatten das Glück das wir ein komplett neu renoviertes Zimmer bekommen haben welches sehr sehr schön war. Es gab einige wenige Kleinigkeiten die ein bisschen blöd waren unter anderem dass es z.B. im Badezimmer keinen Duschvorhang gab und somit nach dem Duschen leider immer das komplette Bad unter Wasser stand. Das Bad war im allgemeinen sehr sehr klein. Für die paar Tage war es aber vollkommen Ok. Es fehlten einige Dinge in unserem neu renovieren Zimmer ( Föhn, WC Bürste, TV Fernbedienung) aber nach kurzer Nachfrage wurde uns alles sofort und super schnell gebracht. Wirklich ein top Service. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Es hätte ein klein bisschen mehr Auswahl z.B. Brötchen geben können. Aber selbst das war für den Kurzurlaub ausreichend. Bei 2 Wochen hätte ich es allerdings etwas schade gefunden. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Kurzurlaub auf der wunderschönen Insel Korfu.

Vi ankom til hotellet ved middagstid og blev mødt af en imødekommende og venlig receptionist, som viste os tilrette på værelserne og gav den nødvendige information. Der er døgn åben i receptionen og de er der virkelig for gæsterne. Vi havde bestilt morgenmad, som var en overskuelig buffet, men der var hvad vi havde brug. Det var anden sidste åbningsuge og ikke så mange gæster, så alt taget i betragtning var det ok. Vores værelser var i orden og rengøringen i top. Hele hotellet så vel ude som inde var rent og pænt. Ved afrejse fik vi uden beregning tilbudt værelserne til sidst på eftermiddagen, hvor vi skulle af sted, så vi ikke skulle vade rundt på må og få fra middag, hvor man skulle have tjekket ud. Det er en service vi ikke har oplevet før. Vi vender med glæde tilbage til Iliada Beach Hotel og dejlige Gouvia. Det er et fint udgangspunkt til at opleve resten af Corfu. Som jo bare er en fantastisk smuk ø

In absoluter Strandnähe.
Zum Kiesstrand in der Gouvia Beach sind es nur wenige Meter über eine Sackgasse hinweg. Liegen und Sonnenschirme mietbar. Personal des Iliada Hotels ist mehrsprachig (Eng, Fr, Deu...?) und sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Die Zimmer sind dem 3* Standard entsprechend ausgestattet. AC, TV mit div. Programmen (Gr,D,F,I) Mini-Eiskasten, Balkon. Gouvia ist selbst per Bus leicht erreichbar. Taxi und auch Mietfahrzeuge preiswert! Wir waren erstmalig 2017 und 2018 wieder hier. Das sagt eigentlich schon Alles. Vielleicht kommen wir auch 2019 :-). Besonders Gäste aus Frankreich scheinen leidenschaftliche Balkon– und Frühstücksraucher zu sein. Vielleicht war die teils lästige Häufung ja aber auch nur ein unglücklicher Zufall....
