Villa Barbati Thalassaki is a welcoming, detached villa with extensive gardens and private pool located just a couple of steps away from the sought after beach of Barbati. Providing amazing seaviews, airy interiors, amazing outdoor areas, Villa Barbati Thalassaki is set to impress even the most demanding guests thanks to its space and unbeatable location. Relax under the poolside kiosk, splash in the large private pool, sunbath while enjoying the views of the sea with the boats passing by and Corfu Town in the distance: this will be a holiday to remember! And with a wide array of shops, restaurants, bars all within easy walking distance, a car is not necessary.



Inside, Villa Barbati Thalassaki is set over 2 floors. The ground floor, at pool level, has a spacious lounge with adjoining kitchen and dining area. Beautifully furnished in Mediterranean colors, the lounge has a satellite TV, wi-fi internet connection, comfortable sofa (that can be turned into a bed for a 5th guest), and patio doors opening onto spacious pool-facing terraces providing beautiful views. The kitchen is modern and well equipped (including dishwasher), perfect for the preparation of meals of any kind. On the ground floor there is also a spacious double bedroom and a bathroom with shower next to it. Stairs lead up to the first floor, where the master bedroom and the second bathroom with shower are located. The bedroom has a double bed and access to a large private terrace providing the most beautiful views over the Ionian Sea. For the comfort of our guests, all the villa is air conditioned both in bedrooms and lounge (included in the rental price).



The outdoor areas of Villa Barbati Thalassaku are truly stunning. The gardens of the villa feature a generously sized private pool (6m x 4m, depth between 1.5m and 1.7m, lit at night), comfortable sunbeds, shaded dining area with bbq as well. The poolside patio and the garden provide beautiful views over the resort of Barbati and the turquoise sea, stretching from Corfu Town up to Albanian mainland in the distance. Parking is also available by the premises nearby. The amazing beach of Barbati is just 100m away and can be reached via a relaxing private footpath.

Wonderful villa in an amazing spot!

My husband and I are back from an incredible week away at the villa. The villa is clean with excellent air conditioning.. which you will need in the summer months! The pool was brilliant for cooling off in and only a few steps away is the beautiful beach. There are views of the sea from the top bedroom which are stunning. Kelly, at Verde Blu on the beach, is so kind and friendly. She answered us quickly with a question we had and made an effort to come over and have a chat when we ate at the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to book it myself again next year!

We had a great stay! The location was fabulous, private, peaceful, and close to everything. The pool was fantastic, and the restaurant and beach club Verde Blue connected to the accommodation was superb, with amazing service, delicious food and drinks, and such great vibes. The sun beds were perfect for relaxing. The apartment had everything we needed, we just wished there were extra towels and pillows but there is a washing machine to do laundry. There were also plenty of great restaurants nearby, along with other amazing beach clubs to explore, supermarkets, and even a bus stop with easy access to Corfu Old Town. The host was incredibly responsive and always ready to help with anything we needed, even down to extra linen. Highly recommend — we’d definitely stay here again!

Villa and pool lovely but more mention should be made of steps and steep incline to shops and restaurants. Very difficult to get around for those less mobile. Handrail on stairs would be useful.

Could be so much better

Although we enjoyed our stay, the villa failed in several ways. The pool, with a shallow end at 4ft4 inches, was inaccessible for me as a non swimmer as the ladder -very short- was at the deep end. There are no rails and the pool is bordered on two sides by hedging, so no access there. The tiles around the pool were a death trap when wet. I slipped after a shower of rain and would have fallen had I not grabbed the table. The garden was not looked after well and the grass was long and tatty. The curved staircase would benefit by having a rail - not child or older person friendly. Bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and we had no complaints at all with those, apart from the fact that the mirror on the vanity unit is too high to use sitting down The kitchen is the worst equipped I’ve ever come across. Very limited cutlery, no serving dishes at all or oven dishes. I had to buy a bowl to eat cereal, and there are none, and also a couple of storage containers to put salads in as serving dishes. The kettle holds enough water for 2 mugs - not great if there are four of you. The worst part of the holiday was the noise. Extremely loud music is played at the weekends from 10am. Sometimes so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation, or to concentrate on anything. Friday nights were also bad, and the owner told us it was because if a wedding, but it was every weekend and really unacceptable. Dadovillas were excellent. Maria especially.

Wonderful week away with family

We’ve just arrived home after having a wonderful week away in Villa Thalassaki, it really has it all! The pool is great and we had many hours of fun with my son who’s 12, nice to cool off to in the 30+ degrees. We used the shared pool too which is steps away from the Villa and gets the sun on it all day long. A few more metres down is a beautiful beach with some nice beach bars/restaurants and plenty of sun beds. Barbati is so lovely and views are out of this world!! Not that busy, has what you need with some tavernas, a few shops and beach bars without being commercial or too hectic. Perfect place for a family. Kelly and Andreas are on hand at verde blu restaurant on the beach if you need help and the check in was so easy. I really would recommend it to anybody!! Loved it ❤️
