We loved this historic and beautiful hotel. Incredible to see the Roman ruins beneath the dining room. We had a lovely room. Great food in the dining room and excellent breakfast. Location just outside main tourist center- quiet and easily walkable.

Reception and welcome good. Room was a little average. Air con was poor , but they put a noisy fan in the room. Breakfast on the second morning was in the bar instead of the beautiful main area due to a candlelight concert being held both evenings. We were not informed of this.
